A superstar reaction 👨‍🎤👨🏼‍🎤⭐🌟 !!! All In Your Name was released as a single on June 25, 2011- the second anniversary of Michael Jackson's passing. It was written by Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb. It was produced by Barry Gibb and John Merchant. The single wasn't eligible for the music charts. The creative process for creating the song was recorded and eventually edited into a music video, released on Barry Gibb's website after the release of the song. Barry Gibb directed, produced the music video.
Billboard reported that on December 20, 2002 that Barry Gibb wrote a song with Michael Jackson recently in protest of the United States government's plan to invade Iraq (which took place in March 2003). There are rumors that Michael Jackson showed up one day with a partly written song and talked Barry Gibb into contributing to it. The date was probably in the summer of 2002. A fan said that Barry Gibb has a demo tape recording of it, but Barry Gibb himself would not confirm that any of this happened.
    Barry Gibb explains 🗣:
"Michael Jackson and I were the dearest of friends, that's simply what it was. We gravitated towards the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with. The more we got to know each other the more those ideas entwined and it all came to this song: "All In Your Name". "All in Your Name" is in fact the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the world that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music. I hope and pray that we all get to hear it in its entirety. This experience I will treasure forever.
    Song Credits 🗒:
Barry Gibb - lead vocal, guitar
Michael Jackson - lead vocal, percussion
    Steve Rucker - drums
    Matt Bonelli - bass
    Alan Kendall - guitar
Hal Roland and Doug Emery - keyboards
Recorded at Middle Ear Studios, Miami Beach, Florida
Recorded by John Merchant, assisted by Ashley Gibb
Fun Fact 🕵🏽‍♂: The Bee Gees and Michael Jackson's friendship went back decades, with Barry Gibb naming one of his sons after Michael Jackson, who was also Michael Gibb's godfather. Michael Jackson brought his godson Michael Gibb out on stage with him when the Jackson 5 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
    Michael Jackson Info 📰:
Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He passed away on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. He was a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and philanthropist. His musical influences include: James Brown, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Diana Ross, Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis Jr, Gene Kelly and David Ruffin. Dubbed the "King Of Pop", he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. Over a four-decade career, his contributions to music, dance and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture. Michael Jackson influenced artists across many music genres; through stage and video performances, he popularized complicated dance moves such as the moonwalk, to which he gave the name, as well as the robot.
The eighth child of the Jackson family, Michael Jackson made his public debut in 1964 with his older brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon as a member of the Jackson 5 (later known as The Jacksons). Michael Jackson began his solo career in 1971 while at Motown Records. He became a solo star with his 1979 album: Off The Wall. His music videos, including those for "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" from his 1982 album Thriller, are credited with breaking racial barriers and transforming the medium into an artform and promotional tool. He helped propel the success of MTV and continued to innovate with videos for the albums Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), HIStory: Past, Present And Future, Book I (1995) and Invincible (2001). Thriller became the best-selling album of all time, while Bad was the first album to produce five US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles.
On March 25, 1983, Michael Jackson reunited with his brothers for Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever, an NBC television special. The show aired on May 16 to an estimated audience of 47 million, and featured The Jacksons and other Motown stars. Michael Jackson's solo performance of "Billie Jean" earned him his first Emmy Award nomination. Wearing a glove decorated with rhinestones, he debuted his moonwalk dance, which Jeffrey Daniel had taught him three years earlier, and it became his signature dance in his repertoire.
In 1984 at the 26th Annual Grammy Awards, Thriller won eight Grammy Awards, and Michael Jackson won an award for the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial storybook. Winning eight Grammys in one ceremony is a record he holds with the band Santana. The Grammy Awards Show success transformed Michael Jackson into a dominant force in global pop culture.
On January 27, 1984 Michael and other members of The Jacksons filmed a Pepsi commercial at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. During a simulated concert before a full house of fans, pyrotechnics accidentally set Michael Jackson's hair on fire, causing second-degree burns to his scalp. He underwent treatment to hide the scars and Pepsi settled out of court. Michael Jackson donated the $1.5 million settlement to the Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, California. Michael Jackson signed a second agreement with Pepsi in the late 1980s for $10 million. The second campaign covered 20 countries and provided financial support for his Bad album and 1987-88 world tour.
The Victory Tour of 1984 headlined The Jacksons and showcased Michael Jackson's new solo material to more than two million Americans. It was the last tour he did with his brothers. Following controversy over the concert's ticket sales, he donated his share of the proceeds, an estimated $3 to 5 million, to charity. During the last concert of the Victory Tour at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, he announced his split from The Jacksons during "Shake Your Body".
MJ's charitable work continued with the release of "We Are The World" (1985), co-written with Lionel Richie, which raised money for the poor in the US and Africa. It earned $63 million (equivalent to $158,728,032 in 2021), and became one of the best-selling singles of all time, with 20 million copies sold. It won four Grammy Awards in 1985, including Song of the Year for MJ and Lionel Richie as its writers. The project's creators received two special American Music Awards honors: one for the creation of the song and another for the USA for Africa idea.
In 1984 Robert Holmes à Court announced he was selling the Sony ATV Music Publishing catalog comprising the publishing rights to nearly 4,000 songs, including most of the Beatles' material. MJ's purchase of the Sony ATV Music catalog was finalized on August 10, 1985. This would lead to a strain in his relationship with Paul McCartney.
MJ's world tours 🏟: Bad (1987-1989), Dangerous World Tour (1992-1993), HIStory World Tour (1996-1997) MJ & Friends (1999) as a solo artist were some of the biggest and best of any artist in music history.
In 2009, while he was preparing for a series of comeback concerts: This Is It, Michael Jackson died from an overdose of propofol administered by his personal physician, Conrad Murray, who was convicted in 2011 of involuntary manslaughter. His death triggered reactions around the world, creating unprecedented surges of Internet traffic and a spike in sales of his music. On July 7, 2009 a televised memorial service for Michael Jackson at the Staples Center in Los Angeles was viewed by an estimated 2.5 billion people globally. On September 3, 2009 the body of Michael Jackson was entombed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
Michael Jackson is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with estimated sales of over 400 million records worldwide. He has won hundreds of awards, making him one of the most-awarded artists in popular music. His awards include 39 Guinness World Records, including the Most Successful Entertainer of All Time, as well as the Grammy Legend Award and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and 26 American Music Awards, including the Artist of the Century and Artist of the 1980s. He also received the World Music Awards' Best-Selling Pop Male Artist of the Millennium and the Bambi Pop Artist of the Millennium Award. Michael Jackson was inducted onto the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1980 as a member of The Jacksons, and in 1984 as a solo artist. He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame as a member of the Jackson 5 in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and again as a solo artist in 2001. In 2002, he was added to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2010, he was the first recording artist to be inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame, and in 2014, he was posthumously inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame. In 2021, he was among the inaugural inductees into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame.

    Bee Gees Info 📰:
The Bee Gees, from England, were formed in 1958 by brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. The Bee Gees were influenced by The Beatles, The Everly Brothers, The Mills Brothers, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys and Stevie Wonder. On the 2014 documentary: The Joy Of The Bee Gees, Barry Gibb said that the Bee Gees were also influenced by The Hollies and Otis Redding. The trio were especially successful in popular music in the late 1960s and early 1970s and later as prominent performers in the disco music era in the mid to late 1970s. The group has won a total of 8 Grammy Awards from 16 Grammy Award nominations over the course of their career.
The Bee Gees are prominently featured on two classic movie soundtracks: Saturday Night Fever (1977) & Staying Alive (1983). The Bee Gee's younger brother Andy Gibb (March 5, 1958 - March 10, 1988) had a very successful music career as a singer before he prematurely passed away in 1988.
Following Maurice Gibb's sudden passing in January 2003 at the age of 53, Barry Gibb and Robin Gibb retired the group's name after 45 years of activity. In 2009, Robin Gibb announced that he and Barry Gibb had agreed that the Bee Gees would re-form and perform again. Robin Gibb passed away in May 2012, aged 62, after a prolonged period of failing health, leaving Barry Gibb as the only surviving member of the group.
The Bee Gees were inducted in 1994 into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as well as Florida's Artists Hall of Fame in 1995. They were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame in 1997. Also, in 1997 the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Bee Gees were appointed Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2002. In 2007, Barry Gibb was ranked by Q magazine at No. 38 on its list of '100 Greatest Singers'. Barry Gibb is also a member of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. In 2023, Barry Gibb was named as a Kennedy Center Honoree for contributions to American culture & for being a "Pop music pioneer". The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide placing them among the best-selling music artists of all time.
