And Lisa Marie Presley was IT for MJ!! They had 9 year relationship, even for many years AFTER they divorced! She went on the History Tour with him, and lived with him for years. She wanted to save him from her father's fate, but she couldn't. May they both Rest Peacefully together with Elvis, and her son Ben.

An extra smooth magical reaction 🪄🔮! Don't cry 😢lol. I see 👁👁 that you have reacted to Michael Jackson before: Ed Sullivan Show Jackson 5 medley (Stand!, Who's Loving You & I Want You Back), Got To Be There, Dancing Machine- Live, Show You The Way To Go, Jam, You Rock My World, Billie Jean, Billie Jean- Live Motown 25, I'll Be There- Live, Remember The Time, Remember The Time- Live, Human Nature- Live, Man In The Mirror, Smooth Criminal- Live, Blame It On The Boogie, All I Do Is Think Of You- Live, Dangerous- Live, Michael Jackson w/ James Brown at 2003 BET Awards, Dirty Diana, Say Say Say, All In Your Name, Rock With You, Show You The Way To Go, The Love You Save (Ed Sullivan Show), They Don’t Care About Us (Brazil Version), Smooth Criminal, The Way You Make Me Feel, Black Or White, Thriller, Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough, ABC- Live, Enjoy Yourself, Beat It and Scream w/ Janet Jackson.
You Are Not Alone was released as the third single off of Michael Jackson's 1995 album: HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. It was written by R Kelly. It was produced by Michael Jackson and R Kelly. Michael Jackson sang lead and background vocals. The song has a tempo of 60 beats per minute, making it one of Michael Jackson's slowest songs. The song reached #1 on the R&B chart chart, #1 on the Hot 100 and #7 on the Adult Contemporary chart. It also reached #1 in Canada, Ireland, Europe, Romania, Scotland, France, Austria, Switzerland, El Salvador, New Zealand, Spain, UK and Belgium. It was a top ten hit in every major global music market. It holds the Guinness World Record for the first song ever to debut at #1 on the Hot 100 and was Michal Jackson's last #1 Pop chart hit. It has been certified Platinum in the US by the RIAA.
The music video was directed by Wayne Ishami and featured his then wife Lisa Marie Presley. The theater scenes were filmed at the Pantages Theatre, in Los Angeles, California. It was released to ABC, MTV, and BET on July 28, 1995. The song received an American Music Award nomination and a Grammy nomination both for "Best Pop Vocal Performance Male".
Michael Jackson first performed the song at the 1995 Soul Train Music Awards, and also at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards. At the latter awards ceremony, the song was performed without the second verse. Michael Jackson then performed the song at the Royal Brunei concert in 1996 where it was performed as a complete song. Michael Jackson also performed the full song during his HIStory World Tour.
The song topped the UK chart for a second time in 2009 when a cover by the finalists of the sixth series of the United Kingdom music talent show: The X-Factor, reached #1. All proceeds went to the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
A woman named Lizzette Martinez claimed that R Kelly wrote the song about their relationship when she was a senior in high school. Lizzette Martinez stated on Lifetime's 2018 documentary show: Surviving R Kelly, that she became pregnant but suffered a miscarriage and R Kelly wrote the song about her losing the baby. "When he wrote it, he was thinking of me", she said.
Diana Ross recorded a version of this song on her international-only released 1996 album: Voice Of Love. Diana Ross would also close her successful 2010-12 "More Today Than Yesterday: The Greatest Hits Tour" with the song as a tribute to Michael Jackson.
The song has been covered by other artists including: Isabel, Guy Sebastian, Nina, Duane Stephenson, Sagi Rei, Chris Botti, Elha Nympha, R Kelly, Veronica De Simone, Kim Waters and more.
    Critical Reception 🗣:
In his weekly UK chart commentary in Dotmusic, James Masterton said that it "probably ranks as one of the most beautiful songs Michael Jackson has ever recorded".
Pan-European magazine Music & Media wrote: "A far cry from "Scream", Jackson undergoes a gigantic moodswing here. Sad as he is, the vibrato in his vocals perfectly complements the moody ballad".
A reviewer from Music Week rated it five out of five, adding: "Barely a yelp or gulp to be had on this dead simple R Kelly-penned and produced ballad. Not the strongest slowie on the album but a lot of wayward fans will be hankering after some no-frills old style Jackson. A biggie".
The R&B critic and journalist Nelson George described the song as lovely and supple.
Jon Pareles of The New York Times felt it was the only conventional love song on the new material on HIStory. He compared it to Mariah Carey's song: "Hero", and said it "sounds like a surefire hit".
James Hunter of Rolling Stone noted that: "the excellent current single 'Scream' or the first-rate R&B ballad 'You Are Not Alone' - manage to link the incidents of Jackson's recent past to universal concepts, like injustice or isolation. When he bases his music in the bluntness of hip-hop, Jackson sketches funky scenarios denouncing greed, blanket unreliability and false accusation".
Fred Shuster of the Daily News of Los Angeles described it as the best song on the album.
    Lyrics 📝:
Another day has gone, I'm still all alone
How could this be? You're not here with me
You never said goodbye, someone tell me, why
Did you have to go and leave my world so cold?
Every day, I sit and ask myself, "How did love slip away?"
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone, I am here with you
Though you're far away, I am here to stay
But you are not alone, I am here with you
Though we're far apart, you're always in my heart
    But you are not alone
    'Lone, 'lone
    Why, 'lone
Just the other night, I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come and hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers, your burdens, I will bear
But first I need your hand, then forever can begin
Every day I sit and ask myself, "How did love slip away?"
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone, I am here with you
Though you're far away, I am here to stay
But you are not alone, I am here with you
Though we're far apart, you're always in my heart
    But you are not alone
Oh, whisper three words and I'll come runnin', fly
And girl you know that I'll be there
    I'll be there
That you are not alone, I am here with you
Though you're far away, I am here to stay
But you are not alone, I am here with you
Though we're far apart, you're always in my heart
That you are not alone, I am here with you
(You are not alone, I am here with you)
Though you're far away, I am here to stay
(Though you're far away, you and me)
But you are not alone, I am here with you
(You are always in my heart)
Though we're far apart, you're always in my heart
For you are not alone (Not alone, oh)
You are not alone, you are not alone
    Say it again
You are not alone, you are not alone
    Not alone, not alone
If you just reach out for me, girl
In the morning, in the evening
    Not alone, not alone
You and me, not alone, oh!
    Together, together
    Not not being alone!
    Not not being alone!
    You believe in me!

      Legacy 🛡:
"Beat It" has been cited as one of the most successful, recognized, awarded, and celebrated songs in the history of pop music; both the song and video had a large impact on pop culture. The song is said to be a "pioneer" in black Rock music and is considered one of the cornerstones of Michael Jackson's 1982 album: Thriller. Eddie Van Halen has been praised for adding "the greatest guitar solo", helping "Beat It" become one of the best-selling singles of all time.
"Beat It" won the Billboard Music Award for favorite Dance/Disco 12" song in 1983. It also received two 1984 Grammy Awards for Record Of The Year and Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, as well as two more American Music Awards.
Rolling Stone placed the song: "Beat It", at number 337 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs in 2004, and at number 185 in its 2021 update of the list. As well as, the magazine named it as the 81st greatest guitar song of all time. It was also included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.
Shortly after its release: "Beat It", was included in the National Highway Safety Commission's anti-drunk driving campaign: "Drinking And Driving Can Kill A Friendship". The song was also included on the accompanying album for the campaign. Michael Jackson received an award from President Ronald Reagan at the White House, in recognition for his support of the campaign. Ronald Reagan stated that Michael Jackson was "proof of what a person can accomplish through a lifestyle free of alcohol or drug abuse. People young and old respect that. And if Americans follow his example, then we can face up to the problem of drinking and driving, and we can, in Michael's words: 'Beat It'".
Frequently listed in greatest song polling lists: "Beat It", was ranked as the world's fourth favorite song in a 2005 poll conducted by Sony Ericsson. Over 700,000 people in 60 countries cast their votes. Voters from the UK placed his song: "Billie Jean", at No. 1, ahead of his song: "Thriller", with a further five of the top ten being solo recordings by Michael Jackson.
The song's lyrics: "Show me how funky and strong is your fight", is often misheard as something you can't say on the radio ("Show me how f---kin' strong is your fight"). That line also has the distinction of being misquoted on one of the most popular sitcoms of the era, when Mallory Keaton (Justine Bateman) on the 1980s NBA television series: Family Ties, demonstrating her idea of good music to her hippie parents, sings: "Show me what's funky, show me what's right...".
In 2008, American Rock band: Fall Out Boy, covered the song: "Beat It". Their studio version was digitally released on March 25, 2008, by Island Records as the only single from the band's first live album: Live In Phoenix. The guitar solo is played by John Mayer. In the United States, the song peaked at No. 19 on the Hot 100 and reached No. 21 on the defunct-Billboard Pop 100 chart, also charting internationally. The band has since regularly incorporated it in their set list during their live concert performances.
The song has been featured in the films 📽: Back To The Future Part II (1989), Zoolander (2001) and Undercover Brother (2002).

      Michael Jackson Info 📰:
Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He passed away on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. He was a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and philanthropist. His musical influences include: James Brown, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Diana Ross, Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis Jr, Gene Kelly and David Ruffin. Dubbed the "King Of Pop", he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. Over a four-decade career, his contributions to music, dance and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture. Michael Jackson influenced artists across many music genres; through stage and video performances, he popularized complicated dance moves such as the moonwalk, to which he gave the name, as well as the robot.
The eighth child of the Jackson family, Michael Jackson made his public debut in 1964 with his older brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon as a member of the Jackson 5 (later known as The Jacksons). Michael Jackson began his solo career in 1971 while at Motown Records. He became a solo star with his 1979 album: Off The Wall. His music videos, including those for "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" from his 1982 album Thriller, are credited with breaking racial barriers and transforming the medium into an artform and promotional tool. He helped propel the success of MTV and continued to innovate with videos for the albums Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), HIStory: Past, Present And Future, Book I (1995) and Invincible (2001). Thriller became the best-selling album of all time, while Bad was the first album to produce five US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles.
On March 25, 1983, Michael Jackson reunited with his brothers for Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever, an NBC television special. The show aired on May 16 to an estimated audience of 47 million, and featured The Jacksons and other Motown stars. Michael Jackson's solo performance of "Billie Jean" earned him his first Emmy Award nomination. Wearing a glove decorated with rhinestones, he debuted his moonwalk dance, which Jeffrey Daniel had taught him three years earlier, and it became his signature dance in his repertoire.
In 1984 at the 26th Annual Grammy Awards, Thriller won eight Grammy Awards, and Michael Jackson won an award for the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial storybook. Winning eight Grammys in one ceremony is a record he holds with the band Santana. The Grammy Awards Show success transformed Michael Jackson into a dominant force in global pop culture.
On January 27, 1984 Michael and other members of The Jacksons filmed a Pepsi commercial at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. During a simulated concert before a full house of fans, pyrotechnics accidentally set Michael Jackson's hair on fire, causing second-degree burns to his scalp. He underwent treatment to hide the scars and Pepsi settled out of court. Michael Jackson donated the $1.5 million settlement to the Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, California. Michael Jackson signed a second agreement with Pepsi in the late 1980s for $10 million. The second campaign covered 20 countries and provided financial support for his Bad album and 1987-88 world tour.
The Victory Tour of 1984 headlined The Jacksons and showcased Michael Jackson's new solo material to more than two million Americans. It was the last tour he did with his brothers. Following controversy over the concert's ticket sales, he donated his share of the proceeds, an estimated $3 to 5 million, to charity. During the last concert of the Victory Tour at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, he announced his split from The Jacksons live on stage during the Jackson 5 performance of the song: "Shake Your Body".
MJ's charitable work continued with the release of "We Are The World" (1985), co-written with Lionel Richie, which raised money for the poor in the US and Africa. It earned $63 million (equivalent to $158,728,032 in 2021), and became one of the best-selling singles of all time, with 20 million copies sold. It won four Grammy Awards in 1985, including Song of the Year for MJ and Lionel Richie as its writers. The project's creators received two special American Music Awards honors: one for the creation of the song and another for the USA for Africa idea.
In 1984 Robert Holmes à Court announced he was selling the Sony ATV Music Publishing catalog comprising the publishing rights to nearly 4,000 songs, including most of the Beatles' material. MJ's purchase of the Sony ATV Music catalog was finalized on August 10, 1985. This would lead to a strain in his relationship with Paul McCartney.
