- Today we're taking a look at a 2023 Toyota Venza. This is now the third year that Toyota is selling this new second gen Venza in the United States and this year we finally get some new features like better guages and a better infotainment touchscreen with wireless apple carplay and wireless android auto. This year we also get the new XLE nighsgade edition. Let me know your thoughts below in the comments and tell me if you'd prefer this or the 2023 Rav4 Hybrid

I like and appreciate the way this reviewer gets right to the point! Thank you!
Venza is pretty much a hidden gem that could be a Lexus
Seem like this year's model is taken from the old Lexus's design.
And without the ungainly Lexus grille! We bought our ‘22 Blizzard Pearl Venza XLE last year and are very happy with it.
It was never ugly
No. It doesnt feel anything like a Lexus
Most comprehensive overview of the car and its features I've seen. Thanks a lot
One of the best car reviews i have seen in a while.
Thank you -- this was a very informative video. I appreciate the level and scope of detail that you provided.
You're the BEST! Thank you!!!
I LOVE my new 2023 Venza!!! Especially with the finger press brakes!!! Everyday I notice a new wonderful feature!!! ❤
Great job covering all the car's features. The only thing I would suggest is to make note if he car had any optional equipment or packages so we know if everything shown comes standard with the trim shown.
amazing detailed review and i love how you mentioned the sunroof that comes with limited or nightshade, small detail but still very informative.
Very good review- no BS . Helping me to decide. thanks.
Glad I could help
Such a beautiful vehicle 🎉
Please give me very detailed instructions, thank you so much❤!
Had a 2011 Venza that was the most reliable vehicle ever. This new edition is stylish and is manufactured in Japan. A bit pricy, but Toyota like all manufacturers have been going up on prices, perhaps due to the shortages of product.
2011 was bigger than RAV4, this is smaller
I have a 2021 Toyota Venza XLE and this 2023 Venza is pretty much the same to 2021 version, but the touchscreen is the only difference with no physical buttons. Overall, it is a great car all around.
i really hope they would have not made that change!
Toyota needs to offer a tan interior!!!
Right! So sick of all these auto-manufacturers offering black, black, black
Fantastic overview of a great car! We just ordered ours!
Yep bought mine 2 weeks ago and I love it
I bought one in February. Love driving it! Terrific car!
Auto start, only good for one year!😢
@Bonnie S what is auto start only good for 1 year?
@@AnnmarieHillDVM yes
It's almost a direct copy of Lexus Rx models
nice car with reasonable price
Really good looking vehicle. Onky reason why I didn't get it was the lack of interior color option. All my vehicles have always been a beige/tan interior. It just gives a more upscale appearance. Oter than that, the Venza is a winner, ESPECIALLY it's backside.
The Venza Back to me scenes smaller than the RAV4.
This is my next car. Retirement is coming soon and I'll be trading in my GMC Sierra and my Chevy Traverse. Both are gas hogs.
Nice job…….
thank you
Can I get a Nightshade edition with the JBL system?
The only selling point is the Hybrid, for a bit more you can get the Lexus NX which is around tue same MSRP
Perché in Italia non arriva la venza?
Is it good for a 16 year old
I'm surprised it has less cargo space than the RAV4. It's nice but I'm hoping Toyota will fix the RAV4 Prime, maybe I'll buy the next version 😀
i really dislike the sloping rear hatch like the Venza and RX350. It really costs a lot of cargo space. The rav4, crv, and others have a better design in that aspect.
@@danwake4431 Yeah, would be great if they had Venza's nicer interior in the RAV4.
Sloping rear helps with the aerodynamic a lot.
I think if they should extend another 4 to 5or 6 inch longer would be more space and will be worth of having it for family
They did. Look up Highlander.
@@lawrenceralph7481 They can bring as Grand Venza which will bring more aerodynamic and more safty for High ways, also it will be beautiful as a family SUV sedan and worth buy to choose either Grand High Landaer or Grand Venza 🙂
It’s 10 months later, and the Venza is going to be replaced with the Crown Signa. We just bought our 2024 Venza Limited. Love it!
@@Combat556 venza is very good vechile I ve heard with a great front looks for out side back part something missing like but if Toyota make little extended version as GRAND VENZA which will attract many families that they can comfortably sits
Between this and the Tesla
Model Y which would you suggest ?
model Y; new and exciting, lots of crazy cool tech and fun to drive. Venza; more traditional, rather boring but will probably last you till the year 2045 😂
I'll rather get this hybrid then. Fully electric car electric bill is getting expensive everyday! Plus toyota reliability is unmatched!
@@pilar861 facts
Difference between venza 22 and venza 23 please?
new audio and multimedia software
larger screens on the guages
nighshade edition is a new trim level
higher resolution reverse camera
base starting price has gone up by about $900
I like it but it has some issues. With the black interior I find in bright daylight you cannot set the lettering on the steering wheel controls and the buttons are not sufficiently unique to enable control by feel.
The USB area is also very dark, cave-like.
The interior lighting is not be very bright and lacks broad coverage.
Overall, it’s a good value against the NX Lexus and against the RAV4 it is more elegantly styled inside and out.
Not having knobs for the climate control is a huge deal breaker.
Plug-in please
I watch all these reviews with disappointment. My local Toyota dealer in Florida hasn’t had a new vehicle on it’s lot in three years. ZERO new inventory of vehicles since pre Covid. That’s sad.
You do get to the point and offer great tech details but it's too rushed and not personable
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Do you have a date? Why rushing. Take your time.

I think its ok for those who want to see short video but almost complete. Great job admin.
Make sure you ask Toyota if they will stand behind the high voltage cable corrosion issue, otherwise don’t buy it. I’ve written Toyota and the dealer twice with no response. Unless they solve this don’t buy it.
Please elaborate, I just bought and can return if issue proves too big for my liking
My 2021 Venza limited has the same problem as the Rav 4 hybrid, the prime, if you look up cablegate on CZcams you’ll see the issue at hand. The problem is the high voltage cable corrodes and causes the vehicle to quit. The replacement of the cable will cost 6 to 7 thousand dollars. It is my understanding that once the three year warranty is up your on your own for the repair. I have a friend same veh as me two months older twenty some thousand kilometers quite a bit of corrosion that he took upon himself to clean the plug. The truck is a good truck, however Toyota is not standing up and taking responsibility for a deign problem.
Is this on all Toyota Hybrids only?
@@sunitjoshi3573 the only ones that I’m aware of are on the Toyota models. As of today I’ve written Toyota Canada three times, my dealership service manager twice, the general manager once with absolutely no reply. They are trying to bury this issue, when my three years is up I will trade mine and go back to all gas model.
@@rayboudreault1452
All gas models will he hard to find. Even toyota is now all hybrid
bro its such a cheap thing to not give power seats on passenger side. 40K plus small size suv that doesn't offer power front seats pathetic..
I have a 2021 XLE (with the upgraded entertainment system for ‘21). My vehicle has power passenger seats (no lumbar), heated steering wheel, as well as heated and cooled seats. Weird that these features aren’t on the newest XLE!
Agreed, I have an XLE and the passenger seat was not powered. I was disappointed when I discovered it. I would have traded the folding mirrors for a power passenger seat.
@@jordianderson1540 In Canada perhaps?
You get it in the US according to Toyota’s site.
I agree
Seems like an expensive RAV4.
Except better looking and better quality materials.
No power Passenger seat? For the price point not worth the money
This venza is over hyped , Avalon is more better than venza
the seat material looks soooo cheap and sad
Turn signals way too low on the rear. Rear wiper should have been placed under the rear spoiler. BTW TOO expensive. Other options in the market. Too bad as the vehicle has unlike Toyota appearance. Also, the push button start is not placed properly location wise.
Too small. Overpriced and interior is fugly.
Not too small for me and my wife, plus two kids(4,7). We paid 38k for an LE. Interior is kind of drab, ill give you that. Not terrible, but not great
@@LivingInAnInverseReality 38K for an LE is a huge rip off. I’m sure quality is great but not for that price.
@@m-cw7er What are you talking about? LE just has a smaller screen than other models and instead of that fake leather, it has cloth, which I like. Starting price is 35k and with some ad ons, delivery, and taxes it's 38k. A Lexus NX Hybrid STARTS at 43k. The car is quiet, rides great, and gets more than 39 combined. Owners are saying they're average 43 mpg. This powertrain is very reliable and not to mention the average car price right now is 45k. You sure I am getting cheated somehow?
@@LivingInAnInverseReality cw7er probably hasn't looked at car prices recently to say these are overpriced. Well actually they are, but show me a car today that isn't. The interior looks fine to me but I am certainly not a car snob, I prefer getting something practical and reliable over fancy.
you forgot to take a look in the trunk?
