I think 0-60 in 6.5 seconds is still really fast. I never bought into the "slow" scenario the media made about the 9.2 seconds on earlier models. Prius has been always been an irrationally hated car. I never had problems keeping up with traffic (or any repairs either) with any the three I've owned. I remember being really impressed with the old Rav4 V-6. One car magazine called the Rav4 V-6 brutally fast. It also went to 60 in 6.5 seconds.

Thanks for the video. My blower has just stopped working at the hottest time of the year of course! I took it out and found a spring wedged in the fan blades and a piece of plastic snapped off at the top of the motor. I've ordered a new Mahle motor, hopefully that fixes it. It's worth noting that this job is much easier on right-hand drive models because all the wiring on top is on the other side of the car so I didn't even disconnect the battery to tell the truth. I had it out in about 15 mins and the hardest part was finding a tool to fit under the ledge below the windscreen to remove the screw at the back! Amazingly the filter was still intact on my 10 year old car!

Can you fold the side mirrors by pressing the button and then back up the car to park into the garage?

Purchased one fully loaded (might have got a bit screwed but at that time it was hard to get what you wanted) Besides I'm looking long term it will pay off as long as it's serviced regularly. tacos can last forever. I'm not putting hardly any miles on it and it's a garage girl so that's going to add to long term value. Last of the taco v6 a proven platform.

DANGEROUS TIRE NOTICE: My 2024 Canadian built Rav4 Gas (not sure what tires the hybrids come with in any given geographical area) Limiteds came with Toyo Open Country A39 tires. Get them off your Rav4 immediately. They came with my Limited and I suspect the XLE premium also comes with them. First time on highway travelling at 84 kilometres per hour in rain with only about 2mm or less than 1/8” of rain the in very shallow tire ruts on asphalt caused the rav4 to hydroplane. I have never hydroplaned in 42 years of driving. I felt the vehicle having trouble (resistance) in 2mm of rain standing the the tire ruts beginning at about 64 kilometres per hour but did not hydroplane until 84 kms/hour. Called and left message with Toyo customer service and again with Mark at Technical when I didn’t hear back from customer service. No response from Toyo at all. I have been buying Toyo winter tires but I will not any longer. The warranty of any tires is only as good as their customer service. If no one responds, then the warranty is useless. I will buy Continentals from now on as once I did contact Continental on an issue almost two years ago, they took care of the issue immediately and sent new tires to my installer. For our 2 Rav4s, after much research, I ordered Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 and will have them mounted this week at my Ontario Canada Toyota dealership.

I not sure why but this is very deceiving. My girlfriend just bought this same model. It has all the things this guy says it doesn't have, i.e. blindspot, 4 USBs, sunroof, wireless phone connection, etc. My guess is that there are different trims levels and the reviewer got a base mode.

Can't compare 1st gen to 2nd gen since the 2nd gen is just a re-badged vehicle. It is a re-badged Toyota Harrier. In my opinion, the 2nd gen is a down grade to the 1st gen.

There is a big problem with tires, and the company does not guarantee this problem, and I have to change the tires. I bought a car in order to save the money from repairing the car. After using the car for 9 months, I was asked to change the tires. This is a disgusting car is still new.

Very underwhelming on the interior for the sport edition, no pockets behind seats, only 1 USB port, no arm rest/cup holder in middle back seat, no wireless android/ apple car play, space looks small in the back. You're 5'9 and your knees are close to the front seat, so if someone is 6'0 and taller it will be uncomfortable for them.

Charging mode is useful when you get free gas 👍🏼

You talked about the 'B' position on the lever as being for regenerative braking, but on all the previous Priuses I've had regen braking occurs with the normal 'D' driving position and the 'B' position involves engine braking which you'd use when going down a steep hill?
