    I emphasized with her. Although in a much smaller and slower conveyance, a boat. Our company's port captain decided to take me on a "check ride" I had to undock and dock an 80 ft crew boat, go along side a ship at anchor and discharge crew. Stand along side backig and filling to await old crew. All the port captain did was scowl and mumble. Contrary to my impressions, he wrote a glowing report.😮😊

    38 knot crosswind is maximum for this plane. Not sure why they landed or if they are trying to make it sound more dramatic. I'm pretty sure landing like this is a routine event that occurs thousands of times a day

    There are three kinds of Captains that First and Second Officers dread flying with.
    In ascending order of disdain, they are Captains who (a) wear long sleeved uniform shirts, (b) those who wear those long sleeved shirts with cufflinks and (c) those who while in the briefing room, wear long sleeved shirts while also wearing their hats!

    22 years old First Officer? Guess Easy Jet had no grooming requirement either.
    One reason I try not to fly to Europe. In the U.S. minimum requirement is 1,500 hours on multi engines before one even considered by commuter airlines (less than 50 passengers). Most 737 or A320 pilots had at least 5 - 10 years experience in commuters or extensive military flying.

    • @aerox7721
      @aerox7721 Před 4 měsíci

      I'd say flight hours or military training does not really matter. All that matters is the dedication of the pilot and how the airline trains them. I forgot the name of the accident, but the US had the same flight hour requirements until a certain plane crash occurred. All I know is that is was a Q-400 turboprop and possibly Continental Airlines. In 2013, Southwest Flight 345, was commanded by an experienced female captain along with a first officer with a military background. They were landing in LaGuardia Airport in New York City. The incompetence of the captain and lack of training for the first officer caused the hard landing and loss of the nose landing gear. The aircraft was too damaged to be repaired and written off. The captain was fired shortly after while the first officer was given more training.

    I think it's very funny commented. But I'm stunned that so young and unexperienced people are allowed to do landings with real passengers. The young insecure woman that didn't pass a test in a sim...why not taking more time to grow in your work, to become more experienced first and work on your personality, before aiming for the higher rank? I really don't understand. "Could you take a photo, for my mum." Look at me in the captain-chair. 🤐They are hardly adult! Something seems wrong in the coaching of these young pilots. If I ever would like to fly, it will not be with easy jet. Sorry.

    The problem with this airline is that they have too many female pilots, and the pilots are too young. All have very few fly hours and relatively inexperienced compared to the traditional airlines. I wouldn’t fly with them!

      And what exactly is the problem with female pilots? You think they're not as prepared to professionally perform as a man or...? You seem to be not showing any respect towards them; is there any chance the problem could be personal of your own?
