    I would love to see all of those questions answered. Also a list of the equipment would be helpful. Thank you for sharing!

    I love the Snap Mount so far. I’m going to use the Telesin mount tomorrow at the beach and see how that works. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice setup, I use the same, Go Pro on the head with samsung s22 ultra on the chest, but I have to always tighten down cause the phones so heavy.

      Have to say, so far I’m not happy with the phone harness. As you say, too heavy. Am going to look into the snap mount phone accessory but it’s currently out of stock. (Thx for watching )

    Perfect timing. I’ve been wanting to capture my digs and other hobbies. I’m looking at GoPros. I was surprised but glad to see you’re not using external mics. That’s just another added cost and I’m on a very tight budget. Thank you so much for sharing. BTW, what do you use for editing SW. Your videos are top notch. Thanks.

      I have purchased a rode wireless mic but have found that in most cases it’s a hassle snd not necessary. It definitely improves the audio however.

    I now this video is a year old, but I was wondering what editing program do you use?

    • @TheHistoryDigger1
      @TheHistoryDigger1  Před 7 dny +1

      I am a Mac user. I use LumaFusion and do my editing on my iPad. I also pay about $20/month to use the Storyblocks content that comes with LumaFusion. I have also started using a DJI Osmo Action 4 vs the GoPro along with a neck vs a shoulder harness and a DJI Mic 2. Feel free to email me if you have other questions. thehistorydigger@gmail.com

      Not that familiar with GoPro Quik editing program. Still available but looks like they’re no longer updating it. Many window users like Filmora.

    I use a Deus XP 2, which has wireless transmission to my headphones. I would love to be able to capture the detector's audio feed on my GoPro as well as the sound off the mic (probably too much to ask!). Have you ever heard of a setup like this? When you want to record the detector's tones, do you just use the RC's speaker?

    • @TheHistoryDigger1
      @TheHistoryDigger1  Před 8 měsíci

      That’s a great question. To date I’ve just used the detectors speaker. You probably know this but you can have your Deus ll play sound simultaneously out of both the control unit speaker and your headphones.
      While many of the newer go pros are Bluetooth compatible I’m not aware of how you could pair the D2 to the go pro. XP however does sell an audio out accessory for the WS6 Master. You might be able to connect that via a wire to your GoPro. Does that make sense?

      Module Adapter Clip Made for XP WS4-WS6 Modules. Use Your Favorite Headphones with The Deus Metal Detector

    • @DevonTT
      @DevonTT Před 8 měsíci

      @@TheHistoryDigger1 OK, this is starting to make sense to me now. That would replace the wireless adapter on a headset. You'd plug a microphone into the 3.5mm jack where a wired headset would plug in. The other end of the cable would plug into the GoPro. There is no 3.5mm mic input on my GoPro8, but they make an adapter that would work. The big question is whether the GoPro would record both the input from the WS6 *and* the audio from its built-in mic. I suspect it wants one or the other. I happen to have a second set of headphones that I could dedicate to a wired setup to test it out. Thanks for the info!

    • @DevonTT
      @DevonTT Před 8 měsíci

      Two minutes of Googling answered the question. :) You can't have more than one mic input operating at the same time. So... I guess the external speaker on the Deus will have to do.

    Quick tip... your delivery is clearly excellent but titling your video and then the whole video covering fiming equipment was misleading and for me, disappointing. 😔
    I wanted to see your kit.

    • @TheHistoryDigger1
      @TheHistoryDigger1  Před rokem

      Not following you. The video is titled exactly as delivered. What other filming equipment were you disappointed not to see? If you mean detecting equipment- that’s not what this is. There’s a much earlier video covering detecting equipment.

      @@TheHistoryDigger1 The video caught my eye as it was on a Metal detecting forum and was titled : "Metal Detecting Videos - An Overview of My Equipment", so I was expecting to see your detecting gear. Looking back on the video I now see there is a 4 second title screen. I didn't see, register or read this. I always think if you want a user to read something, it needs to be on the screen for at least 8 seconds. Anyhows, just some user feedback. Amazing the amount of kit you have and as I say, very professionally delivered. Thanks
