Bro deserves this Oscar for carrying that 15/70 perf imax gt camera on his back , he was literally carrying the film. Who can forget mighty interstellar , Dunkirk and tenet . All were great films with excellent Cinematography specially TeneT
True
I think there were camera operators involved too
And for that wacky name.
i absolutely love this comment
Both of Nolan's cinematographers have won Oscars. He's doing something right
Or his cinematographers are rather doing something right.
@@Denis-89 Or, both statements are true 🙂
Love that he has a accent in both Swedish and Dutch at the same time! Grattis, Hoyte van Hoytema!!
Well deserved. It was a long time coming.
Van harte gefeliciteerd Hoyte!!
If they make another BLADE RUNNER
They should bring him in
No shit!
No one can replace Deakins
@@planeguy95 What are you talking about? 2049 was a different film than the original, if there’d be a new one I’d likely be a very different film from different filmmakers too.
@@VariTimo I'll invite you over and you can cry on my shoulder if you like
Congrats
Awesome
Jonathan Glazer's acceptance speech was beautiful!!!
Bravo Mr. van Hoytema!!
Nederlanders UNITE
Hoyte !
The swedes are claiming Hoyte
Because he lives and has Swedish citizenship?
he's dutch
@@ItzSatan Dutch-Swedish actually. He has lived and worked in Sweden for over 20 years now. His wife is Swedish and his children are Swedish. He has not been back to Netherlands since he left it
@@Denis-89 thanks didn't know that
That's not true, he visits the netherlands occasionally@@Denis-89
Erik Messerschmidt should've been nominated for The Killer instead of Edward Lachman for El Conde
Cinematography? It's just 3 hours of super close up of cilian murphy face, i have memorized every pores on his face
Spoken like someone who only watched a trailer😒🤡
@Archontasil okay, then who else should have won for cinematography? Tell us please
@@parthibbiswas3730 Killers of the Flower Moon, definitely. If not, Poor Things was also better.
Are you on crazy pills? I could talk for an hour about the cinematography in this
@@Silentsilo987 go write for hours, Tell me what's so good about super close up shots of peoples faces for 3 hours.
I'd rather like wide shot where i can see people iinteract with each other and their surroundings, 12 angry men, Kurosawa's, good bad and the ugly. Now those are great cinematography
О уже надо было придумать сказку про Оппенгеймера!! Ну конечно .....
