- Hey guys! Today I'm putting a spin on my typical squishy makeover series. I've decided to challenge myself to paint as many squishies as I can in ONE day. Of course, I still wanted to make somewhat cute designs, so I worked at a pace where I could still paint something worthwhile. Hopefully you enjoy!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 28 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try).

Misty seems so unusual for Moriah's usual style, she's super dark with a non-colourful and simple design and I LOVE HER
I don't think it's that unusual...
While Moriah's style is bright and colorful, her attitude can get..kinda...dark, at times. Which is one reason I keep coming back to her videos.
The visual brightness of her artwork with the dark attitude is pretty awesome.

the one thing i really like is Misty's eyes. they are different than the eyes Moriah usually does and it's a nice break from the norm. also they just look really nice and interesting.
The only thing that should know and will never change is her humor I mean she makes my day and just perfect the humor that I need every day and that will never change but yeah, every once in a while, I think I like to do something abnormal

I really appreciate how Moriah showcases all parts of the creative process, not just when everything turns out how she wants but also when she makes mistakes and how she tries to fix them. Although of course, I think things look great even when she hates them but still, I appreciate her being vulnerable.

It’s crazy to me that I’ve been watching this channel since the basement era. I used to come home, my junior year, after being in marching band for football games on Friday and looking forward to a new video from Moriah and being so happy to watch them to relax.

Artist tip: You can alcohol ink to gesso to tint it without thinning the coverage. This could speed up your overall process if you do a tinted base. 3:07
There are other tiny options also, but I find this tends to remain truest to color when it dries.

I love this! Also just a tip: if you want to paint the pupils a different color, try a color that’s a little darker that the iris color that’s in the same color family! It gives that cuties look without it being too bold
