For this kind of setup I would actually go with acrylic paper. You can get it from any craft supply store. It’s textured like a canvas but it comes in a pad, she can work then rip off the top sheet and start a new piece.
I will warn you all! I have the same brush cleaner in the video and you have to change the water every 5 minutes, it fills up FAST!! Just warning you all!
It’s a gimmick. Old cans and jars work just fine and you have to swap the water out frequently as well. It’s better for the environment too to just use what you already have.
This is reminding me of my daughter's childhood. She loves painting but during that time we didn't have these supplies so she would mostly use colour pencils and markers and I was also very hesitant to buy her paints as every time I would buy her paints either the paints would dry out otherwise the brush would. She would use the walls as her canvas. many years have passed and she is an amazing artist now and had recently won 800 usd. So proud of her. And I'm telling you your daughter will soon do the same.
My daughter just turned 11 so she doesn't draw on walls anymore but I remember those days when she was a toddler and drew on walls! Thankfully my mom and stepdad are our landlord! She also used a whole bottle of nail polish to glue a stuffed animal to the carpet in her room!😂 But it's those carpet squares that fit together like a puzzle and my stepdad has a bunch of extra ones so we were able to just replace that one square! It's never a dull moment with kids 😊
The big square are for mixing colours!! You can teach her to mix her colours there and she will be more organised. Anyways she's just a child so she can eventually learn no biggie!
I know pink and red is probably her favourite colour which is why you used the bug spots for it. But seeing that hurt my soul, pretty sure its for mixing paint, maybe tou could teach her colour theory with it!
Believe me, this is a great gift for someone who loves to draw! When I was little, I knew drawing as a hobby. As I grew up, I realized that I am very good in this field. I am already studying in the 7th grade and I am 13 years old. Now the whole school knows how I draw. I am very happy because of that!❤❤
Appearance of the 'art' is just bonus. Its them exploring their creativity, finding themselves at an age they will start to decide if they like or dislike doing things that is the best part (in my opinion, not that it means anything). So many times we hear from people who are Masters in their field, saying that it all began with a session of *whatever their speciality is* when they were a kid and thats when they discovered they love it & want to get better at it, then want to master it. Good Luck Izzy, i hope you too find your love 🤞🏻🥰💕💕
Absolutely! My mama got me into painting when I was 3, now I'm 21 and extremely proud of the pieces I've created over the years. Very thankful for her🩷.
This is awesome but i think it was better if you left the last 2 squares empty for mixing colors. As an artist, such wide space could be used for making a new color at each corner
You can spend so much money on setting up something for your child, but it truly is priceless just to see them want to do it at the point that they will set it up there selves, it’s priceless when they make a mess, so let a little of Izzy’s life be priceless
my only problem is that there is nowhere to mix colors and as far as i can see no white paint. try giving her fewer colors and teaching her how to mix the shades she wants
That thing she showed at the start to rinse your brushes I’m not sure maybe they have improved it but I’ve tried one before and it was an absolute mess! It leaked everywhere and broke after minutes of using it. You’re better off using a cheap plastic cup or container and just dipping the brush. It is much easier to fill, clean, and is much cheaper.
If you ever have time, I would totally recommend this as a way to teach colors to your lil ones. Add the primary colors and tell them to mix the colors, for a specific color. They will think it’s magical that the yellow and red now turned into orange! ❤
Sometimes when I see my classmates drawing I see stick mans or big nose's or colors that make no sense so I just say amazing but in my mind is what the heck is that
This is such a great idea as a painter i would like to inform you that there is an actual use for the big squares its for mixing colors but we see shes a pro at mixing them already 😁
I do not mean to hate, and I don’t know how old your daughter is, but I do know all you have to do is get her an old table, a jar of water, a few paintbrushes, and a watercolor set. And I do not mean to be nosy but I’m sure it might just cost as much as that and for all the people out there who think this is hate I do not mean to be hating on her. She is an amazing, smart, kind, and loving mom. Giving the best things for her children, I was just giving her other options. I’m sorry. Also, I love her channel! ❤️
@@drpangrumthe point is she can sit down with her daughter and have fun painting with her over and over instead of spending a bunch of money and it becoming an every now and then activity because it’s both expensive and a chore to clean up. That’s a lot of wasted paint and she’s going to have to take that mat outside and spray it with the hose. Water color is easy to clean up and kids have just as much fun with it if you don’t buy the cheap kids watercolors.
When I was a kid and I asked to paint I was told to go outside, fill a cup with hose water and get the massacred water colors and pain brushes from my room. I always had a blast. A child does not need all of these items to have fun.
It’s not a competition of who had the better childhood, dude. If that was fun for you, then great. None of the items on this video are particularly expensive, and if that’s what makes this little girl happy, then that’s just as valid as your childhood experiences.
Yeah yeah, and you had to walk up a hill both ways to get to school. No one said that a kid needs these items to have fun, it’s just a parent sharing how she keeps painting time clean. Im sorry but this type of defensive response seems like you’re jealous.
If a random creepy guy walked up to you and asked for your child's full name would you tell him? No! Not only are you telling one creepy guy her full name, but you are telling any creepy guy that wants to know anything about her, suddenly a guy could see her and say *"Izzy, I know you love to paint, i'm a friend of your moms! Wanna come to my paint studio?"* and then do terrible things to her! You are endangering your child for what? Views, likes? I know this comment will not convince you otherwise but im just making you aware!
What if her real name has nothing to do with Izzy…..like her real name is Rachel or something, she just uses “Izzy” in the videos to keep the kiddos name private. 👍🏻
