  • This evolution requires one Engine Company with four members, an engine mounted monitor and supply line. This timed evolution begins when the Engine stops, airbrake is applied.
    Standard requirements:
 Crew will have predetermined fire location target chosen, simulating a large fire on a second story balcony (the area, tree, side of building etc. needs to be chosen as the engine operator will have to be accurate with the deck gun.)
 The Engine Company stops at the fire scene and 2 members will hand jack 100’ of 4” and secure a hydrant supply.
 The Engine Operator will deploy and charge the monitor off tank water at the proper discharge pressure.
 The Operator will note how much water is used before accuracy is achieved on the “fire.” 10 seconds on the fire is minimum with tank supply.
 When the supply line is charged the Operator will switch over to hydrant water.
Recommended maximum time for the evolution is 3 minutes.
