- We made a special trip to NYC just to see this show before it closes this April. The Phantom of the Opera is my childhood. Growing up, the album played on repeat in our house and long car trips. I even kept wearing out the cassette tapes and had to buy new ones. I have seen this show many times, but never in its home at the Majestic Theatre in New York City. This night was a dream come true and an experience that I'll never forget. So, come along for a night at the theatre as we say goodbye to the Phantom of the Opera.
Phantom is so special to a lot of people and there's no Broadway without it. There are already talks about it returning pretty soon after its closure and the Majestic's refurbishment. Andrew Lloyd Webber doesn't intend on having it leave us just yet.
The majestic is being refurbished?
Will it go back in or go to another theatre?
Where can I search the talks?
That's the rumor I've been hearing. I'm afraid they will strip the show down to save on the cost of the production. So, I'm very happy I saw it in it's original form.

I went to buy a ticket and the theater. It was located all the way to the side at the top of the balcony and they were asking close to $300 for the ticket. I didn't think it was worth the price.
@@JEFF-zr8po Oh that is crazy. I got a front row to ticket for 300 something. I’m going to see it this Tuesday and I can’t wait!
