Dan Schneider was the subject of numerous shocking allegations in the docuseries, which he called a “hit job.” Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks down why Schneider is suing producers.

The burden of proof and also the burning of nobody having proof of these conspiracy theories made about him made by regular people and then the public believing them, if anything he's going to have more of a successful lawsuit against CZcams channels that start spreading these rumors, just saying

Tbh there is actually no proof… these are just allegations. Even ppl like mark summers, Amanda Byrnes, and Keenan Thomas have all came forward and have said they heard and have never seen any such actions on set. If you watch the documentary closely the ppl all look like they are either acting or jealous because they got sidelined by another up and coming child star… I’m not saying things like this don’t happen in the entertainment industry but at the same time there has been no proof he actually did anything. 🤷🏻♂️
They didn’t ruin his reputation. These allegations have been floating around for a while.
It was never proven that Schneider touched a child. If you were falsely accused of molesting children by overzealous producers eager to make money by profiting off the traumas of others, you would sue, too.

His reputation has been bad for years. I remember the rumor 16 years or so ago that he is the father of Jaimie Lynn Spears' child.
I heard that rumor too and since Quiet on Sets been released I’ve seen more about that rumor

this is EXACTLY why you talk to your lawyers before publicly making any comments. a lawyer would have definitely advised him NOT to make any statements, im sure. especially with these allegations being so serious

Amanda Byne’s is proof enough for me that something terrible happened. I grew up watching her on TV and seeing her now breaks my heart- she looks so sad inside. I can’t look at her and not believe he didn’t do what he did. Mental health issues and drugs alone don’t do that to people, but they do if they’re trying to bury pain.
I think it’s not just him. I think her parents didn’t protect her as well.
I don't think you are in a position to have "proof" of anything. You don't know that is what happened and you definitely don't have proof. This is the problem now, everyone thinks their opinion is fact, regardless of whether or not you actually have any facts.

@@Suarez05 All speculation and rumors. Unless Amanda speaks up, Schneider is an innocent and free man. We live in a just world where people are innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. Anyways, Schneider seems to be one of the few people who were there for Amanda. If she was ever abused, it would likely have been due to her parents as Dan alluded to in his interview when he said she had a fight with her dad.

He was friends with John Wayne Gacy. Yeah. That sicko was friends with one of the most prolific killers of all time, and even visited him in prison; he fought with the state of Ohio to be able to go to his funeral. It horrifies me that someone that is friends with one of the most prolific killers of all time, that killed children, was allowed to legally be around children.

Some of these complaints that were made from people that were writers and had literal involvement with these pieces of content that everybody is saying Dan did, it was said that the higher ups will approve of certain things and writers write editor's edit, and Dan may have created the show but it doesn't really mean he was responsible for certain pieces of content, it's not going to go to the way people keep saying it's going to go

I'm so angry that the mother of Drake didn't listen to her son's father's concerns regarding Brian Peck. She allowed him to be alone with her son even when her ex-husband voiced serious concerns. All because she didn't like driving? Seriously!
