Also Arthur put down a lot of his feelings in that journal so not only did John get to reminisce about his past on brother he actually got to see how Arthur was feeling, instead of just trusting what Arthur was saying because Arthur is a manly manful man and didn’t talk to sentimental with people.

Think this guy found the pieces of the map as Arthur and done the actual mission as John, so John would've seen the bodies arthur found he was a pretty good artist the drawings definitely would've of been vivid enough for John to make the connection

There’s a difference between shooting people shooting at you and mutilating random innocent ppl for fun. Even low honor Arthur doesn’t do anything as evil as that (not canonically anyways)
@josephstalin2606 My Arthur mutilated many innocent people. If it weren't canon or out of character it would do something like desynchronise you you like in Assassins Creed if you kill innocents

no its not, without auto aim and deadeye the shooting is wonky, they should have made the guns like rdr1 and not ruin them with inaccuracy and so many split things that never were involved in the universe 10 years later.

If you dont save the Sheriff while Serial Kilker attacked him he will shoot him himself. Maybe that was non fatal shot andbhe somehow survived , served years in prison and then cane out and started his murder spree once again after 8 years
just west of valentine I think. you ever seen those mutilated bodies with the notes stuffed into their mouths? if you find all 3 of those you get a map that leads you here and gives you the lock code.
Follow the west road from Valentine. If you look on the map there and follow the west road, there are 2 small buildings. Thats it. You do need to find all the map peices though as you need a code to get into the cellar

@@davenzayas4690 You should be able to start it as John if you didn't do it with Arthur. Reload a save/restart your game and try interacting with it again. I started it with John in my last playthrough

Yeah I got this Easter egg on my second play through. I collected all the 3 map pieces but died as Arthur than I came back as John.

I just noticed the corpse without a head in the back room is in the mission where you are with Charles and go into the Murfree brood cave

This ain't really part of the game though. If you go there in game as John, it's locked and the cabin is pretty much gone.
You have to find the pieces as Arthur and wait to go to the killer's house as John
