Everyone talks about when the piano intensifies in central hyrule but nobody talks about when the entire damn orchestra starts going at it in the middle of the desert
So true

Can't believe they wrote this unbelievably epic theme for a fish.
1: I say it’s a big sand seal with an even BIGGER chin and 2: the gerudo great skeleton IS the wind fish! It has tiny wings!
A sand fish no less

Molduga/Molduking: swallows a Remote Bomb
Guy on the viola: *It's time to get FUNKY*
I remember hearing an NPC talking about how Molduga can sense something move or stop on sand, I had the bright idea of climbing a solid precipice and tossing a round remote bomb onto the sand. Sure enough, pop goes the Molduga.

I feel like Molduga is incredibly inspired by Molgera from Windwaker. Similar names, both sand worm creatures, and both have similar exotic feeling bopping tunes.
Saw a comment that said this theme and the molgera theme are made by the same composer. Not sure if it’s true though, but if it is, that’s probably why.
@@thedoveabove9878 As someone who really does not like BotW’s soundtrack, this explains a lot why this is one of the few themes I love.
Molduga, Molgera, Twinmold... All of them are related because they are part of the moldorm species.
It is like Stallord being part of the stalfos species.
Moldorm from Link to the past is quick to come to mind, as is Twin mold from majora's mask.

Music is one of the best part about Nintendo games
Facts.
True
Nintendo and Doom music 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
I like to think that the Champion's spirits follow Link around, providing music for the situations he's in. Daruk on drums and the others staring at link trying to lure the molduga whilst on a rock. Daruk's like "C'mon little guy!" and the rest just look at link. Then the beat drop happens when link bombs the molduga. Mipha on her silverscale viola, Urbosa providing back violin and Revali trying to look as magestic as possible holding a pair of maracas. Daruk's blasting drums with two little drumstick cobble crushers and Link's like "wtf."
Aight this is my new headcanon, all the music in botw is just played by a band formed by the dead champions. A guardian is attacking Link? Revali is just gleefully going ham on a piano in the back. Stone talus appears? Daruk pulls out his trumpet and Mipha grabs that flute thing (idk the instrument’s name)
Does that mean Urabosa is conducting and writing the music? Also with this head canon, I'm having the knight's of hyrule play the music in Hyrule Castle
Thank you for this headcanon, I shall now enjoy every bit of the mental imagery this brings me.
Honestly, I don’t know how Ravioli would hold maracas with wings
@@SuperJman1111 he manages to hold a bow, maracas wouldn't be such a task. In AoC, he hold his bow normally with his wings in a cutscene
Man, this sand seal ride theme song is sick. Miles ahead compared to the horse ride theme.

I chased my d&d party with a purple worm, and i put this music on. It was glorious.
Hearing this song in the gerudo desert while there is a sunset is one of the best things I’ve ever witnessed
Saw a comment on another version of this song and he suggested this amazing idea if this song was in smash. He said it would start as normal base song when you first encounter molduga and once either opponent reached 100% damage the song would change to when molduga is vulnerable for attack and once you were killed then the song would update to this version after attacking vulnerable molduga. Thats would have been the best transition in a song for smash like damn major missed opportunity.
100% is definitely too high, but that would be amazing,
0:00-0:14 love this part to death
Who doesn’t?
Same energy as when you grab a Fire Flower in Squizzard's boss battle in Super Mario Galaxy 2
These guys are quite easy to takedown once you know the dance, but that first encounter was S C A R Y.
Bro i panicked HARD cuz of the music and seeing a thing in the sand carwaling toward me at mach speed
tbh my first encounter was really easy (I had a lightning sword and urbosas's fury, it went down in two spin attacks) and I was kinda just sitting there like... is that it? I actually went out of my way to find another one to try it without urbosa's fury to see how hard it was supposed to be
I heard of them before from CZcams, so I knew there was something in the dessert
Like my dad would love this, it sounds like modern indian music, and he LOVES that stuff
and yes, india does have a desert
not the same without the sounds of me sobbing as i attempt to light the shrine torches while running around with no sand boots or speed boosts
I have over 300 hours in the game and I never fought a molduga until yesterday. This themes a banger so I looked it up on YT And I'm glad this is here.
I started fighting molduga just so I could hear this absolute banger

Can we talk about how cute the molduga sounds are
This is weird but I agree
This song is genuinely so pretty.
The thing I love about this song is the way it alters mid battle once you weaken it to be more triumphant. That was one of my favorite things about Shadow of the Colossus and I want more like that.
It's called adaptive music, and just wait until you look at the sheer complexity of some of these, for example, Wii tanks!
just amazing, the way the music changes during the fight depending on if you can strike or not makes it so much more intense and satisfying. not to mention that seamless loop that just makes it seem like another part of the song!
I cannot get over the first twelve seconds
Ikr, I wish it repeated later in the song
Lizalfos: violin
Bokoblin: bongos
Moblin: crash cymbal
This is nostalgic, so much memories, but time flies so fast bro, i played this for the first time 2 years ago, its felt like 5 months, like wtf i was

This must've been a reupload, I could've sworn I watched this more than a week ago
I love how songs in this game represent the enemy so well.
Hinox: Big primal sounding theme with a fairly normal tempo, almost sounding like you would hear in a jungle.
Talus: Bumbling giant sound that almost sounds goofy with slow tempo, which sounds like threat but not a very great one.
Molduga: Heroic and dramatic sounding with an upbeat tempo, which sounds like a fight scene straight from a movie that would be enjoyable to watch.
Guardian Scout: Very repetitive and almost robotic sounding, fast anxiety sounding tempo, which sounds hard and not fun to deal with.
Even the theme that plays when you fight a lynel. Even though it is used for other enemies, there are two very different ones.
One is fairly basic and cavemen s sounding which is used for when you fight a normal enemy like a keese or bokoblin. The other starts out more aggressive to convey that this enemy is a much bigger threat or is immediately engaging you.
Guardian Stalker: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA with fast tempo, signifying the danger you are in, yet still somehow you can just tell this enemy has a weak spot. Go, and kill that mofo.
Reminds me of a niblesnarf, especially with the bomb lure thing from mh3tri
Truly, cool monster tho
Viola time is now ready. So much for Raviolis Gale
One of the things I enjoy about this boss is it’s apparently, a giant shovel-like chin used to dig through the soft sand and glide effortlessly through the ground, it’s large fins used to manipulate the sand around it like it’s water, and those tiny little limbs
To put it simply, yep, this is a sand fish
this is the best miniboss music in the game
"ok look we just need a theme for a small miniboss nothing fancy just something thats on par with the hin-"
The music production:
We can all agree this is way better than the normal theme.
YES
Can anyone else imagine Urbosa dancing to this music?

This is the best soundtrack in video game history
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, idk about that, chief
This theme is FAR too good for how easy moldugas are to defeat
Beautiful Melodys Strings went hard on this one, i prefer the beginning of the whole song it has a nice truimph feel to it
This reminds me of Fire Island Volcano from Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon at points. Maybe you could upload that one soon?
Why is this theme literal fire and then the Hinox theme sounds like someone who’s never played a drum before trying to
hinox theme slaps wym

This is actually the best music EVER!!
0:26 is the best part in my opinion
Honestly this is my favorite theme of botw and love it!!! 👍
The violinist: MY TIME HAS COME
This sounds ripped right out of tri force heros
Yes it does
did you know that the botw ost is actually a remix/mix of most of the songs from the older games (for example hyrule castle theme's intro has a bit of the Links awakening ost in it I read) I wouldnt be suprised if this sounds similar to something from the tri force heroes ost
@@justinworld9 it's more leit motifs. Basically, parts of a piece that signify an emotion or expression that are kept consistent and recognizable in a piece, even in between movements.
In this case, it's being kept intact in between titles of Zelda games.
For example, night riding theme has a variation of the Legend of Zelda theme, Rito theme is a mix of (iirc) skyward sword and something else (maybe oot), etc. But really it's more because those represent distinct emotions. Skyward sword, for example, has the whole sky aspect to it, so it fits perfectly for a bird species, etc.
