When I was 7 yrs old I was walking to the local store for my grandma, I was approached by an old man who said his sister was sick and he needed my help. He took my hand and began leading off the main road onto a side street; call it a sixth sense, call it God speaking to me; something in my head said: "Wait, he's an adult, you are a child, how can you help his sister?". So I let go of his hand and ran for dear life, ran like the wind, back to my grandma's apartment building. That has stayed with me all of my life.

Praise God he had someone in place to help you. It’s so important to teach your children not to talk or go with a stranger. Of course I grew up back in the 60’s. And back then people wouldn’t harm kids like they do now days. It’s been since the late 90’s that people started teaching ( stranger danger ). I don’t have grandkids but I hope if I ever do I can live close to them and help protect them. It’s like families need to stick together and neighbors too. Keeping an eye on each other. You are sure blessed to have a great neighbor.

Dad came out heard the lady yelling nonsense and cracked the lady in the mouth. Knowing he was going to jail he called the police and pretended they were going to kidnap his daughter so that he could avoid the assault charge. In the end, everything will be dismissed before ever seeing a second of court. The police won't be able to prove an attempted kidnapping nor that he assaulted anyone. Cop came up hard, hand on his gun, I started to get pissed because I knew I hadn't done anything wrong and figured I was about to get hassled for window tint again. Cop said something about a missing kid, I dropped my windows and popped my trunk, about 3 seconds later cop yelled out "sorry thanks" and pealed off after a car that was nearly identical to mine that just went by. I circled the block and by the time I came back around there were half a dozen squads a guy proned out who and a kid being taken out of the back seat.

I witnessed an attempted kidnapping while I was picking up my sister from school a few years back. It happened so fast and I thank god I was paying attention. I was a little early waiting for the school to be let out. I noticed that there was a suspicious black suburban that kept making loops around the school. I saw that the suburban suddenly stopped next to a little 7 or 8 year old boy walking by himself down the block. I pulled my car immediately out of the pick up zone to check on the situation. Once he saw I was right behind him watching him, he sped away real fast and took off. I asked the boy if he was okay and he said that man told him to "get in the car quickly and not to ask questions"
Poor child looked so scared. I contacted the principal and authorities. Made some posts on fb groups to notify parents to watch out for that vehicle description. I have no idea if they ever caught that guy. I just remember being so panicked. And I thank god that little boy didn't get taken.

As the little boy ran past me I snagged his hoody and held him. The woman was begging me please let them go… they finally caught up and showed me their badges and said “ thank you”. Later as I was boarding a guy came up to me and said… “ wow that was brave!”
Honestly it happened so fast I didn’t have time to think about being brave. When I got in my seat on the plane… I did break down and cry quietly. No one knew. I felt bad for them but the woman was kidnapping and it was just emotional. Didn’t hit me til I calmed down.

Stop trying to figure it out and just accept that EVIL is a part of the world and you should be very aware at all times of your children and look out for other minors too.

A lot of folks are commenting on how sweet, friendly and polite the boy is. Yes, he is. Sadly, children who have those type of people as parents are often very sweet, polite and friendly because it's self preservation. They learned that type of communication keeps them from being smacked around by their parents and other adults.

I don't know how things works in America, I know that the police is very effective. Here the authorities would not allow addict parents take care of their children until they have gone though a long treatment and prove that they are drugfree, but health care here is free. Poor kid 💔Love from Sweden 💛💙

@@reynalindstrom2496 I'm not American either. Where I live they don't let addicted parents raise children and they go into foster care or with family whilst the parent goes into recovery, but no place is perfect and there have been instances of social workers making the wrong decisions. I think that happens everywhere as humans are inherently flawed.

I’m a grown ass woman and someone tried to grab me. It’s terrifying. He tailed me for a couple of blocks and didn’t say anything until I turned and looked at him. Then he got out of his car and started trying to get close within each of me. I think he was working with a partner parked near by because he kept taking a step toward me and I’d take a step back. He was talking nonsense (asking me first directions, then can I teach him English and then can I teach him how to talk to girls…he was just firing another random unrelated question after I’d say no to the first. He never even asked me my name or anything like he was trying to start a normal conversation) like he was trying to keep my attention. I kept at least 6 feet between us backing away constantly. It was dusk too, in a nice neighborhood, not even dark yet. Super safe area.
he suddenly ran & jumped in his car and sped off when a couple walked around the corner with their dog.
