I have a pair of the Sabot gloves. Just. Bought them, havee flown once for 1.5 hours with them at 0 degree celcius (32 Fahrenheit) and my hands were VERY comfortable the entire time. Lots of dexterity to be able to use your fingers too. Fantastic price. Highly recommend these gloves so far. Can not speak to the longevity of the gloves, but I am very impressed with the quality for $90!!
I got the Sabot gloves for $70 off Amazon and they are great, even without the electrical my hands are warm. On the high heat they are actually too hot and can almost burn your hand even in winter at altitude. Most importantly they still have enough finger dexterity for managing brake handles and lines and pushing buttons on phones.
I have the 2021 upgraded sabot heat gloves. My only gripe is the palms are very thin. Hands get cold holding anything cold like a shovel or wiping snow off your vehicle can feel the cold throughout the palms. But they really do heat up fast and they aren’t water resistant at all.
I'm looking forward to seeing how they do while flying. I live next door to you in MN, so very much comparable weather. Haven't been able to find a heated glove that prevents my finger tips from hurting after about 15 min of flying in the winter.
Saturday looks like a snowy but calm day, should be a good test. Winter flying is tough, but with the trike this year and good gloves, I should get out a lot more. I can’t wait till the lakes freeze over.
So, did you had the chance to test the SabotHeat gloves in flight near/or during freezing temp? How long did they lasted on highest level on these condition and how were the hands?

Thanks for sharing. They are highly recommended by me as well.

They say Sabot gloves have a strong smell, something deer hunter's might keep in mind
i fly in -5 to -10C with the sabotheat they work well but i won't fly for more than 20 minutes at a time its just too cold

Gerbing are the best of the worse , I can't find any battery glove that actually keeps your fingers warm while flying in cold temps. 35 *

I used them a few times. Very warm and lasted about 45 minutes. I choose to use the thinner heated liners because these ones feel bulky.
Thanks for the review
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
The same as Tom's link they are not available in the UK. Is there a UK link ?
Not sure, can you order from Amazon there?
Great info. I got ask though. On a pair I had my hands would sweat and get sticky inside. Do the insides of these cause that issue as well?
You could always turn into a lower heat. On days when I’m wearing these, it’s so cold out your hands don’t get hot, they just don’t freeze.
What's the verdict on the Sabot heated gloves?
They’re definitely toasty. I haven’t had a chance to fly yet with them though. There better than any other glove that I’ve had for winter flying.
