why does no one talk about gpu renting in a platform like clore ai or vast ai?? i currenty making about 6.5$ per day from a single RTX4090 and i think this is very profitable!!!
If you have a 4090 then run it. But I can't make a 4090 pay itself off inside 3years even getting 6usd per day.

I am the same way when it comes to hardware, I get what I need to make a rig and then get the card's when I can. Picked up 3 cpu's to make 3 cpu mining rigs all 5900x and looking to build a 7900x cpu rig before I get back in to getting gpu's, as picked up a B250C 12 usb mining motherboard which I would like to fill up as no cards on it as yet plus need psu's to power everything as well as a server case to house it all.
As a gamer I cant wait for GPU mining to be super profitable again. Waiting for a GPU mining revive so i can sell my 4090FE for $2.5k to some suckers 😂 then sit on my new/old 3080 i bought for just $400 yesterday on a second build 😂 then wait for the next crash and pick up like a rtx 6080 or 6090 years from now for 1/3 the price and then sell the 3080 on the next surge. I'll always have a new old card that does the job without dipping in my wallet. Just flip at the right time. I will never forget flipping an R9 380 i bought for $75 and sold for $325. Been hooked to flipping since! I dont need the best card right away when it comes out. I'm patient. This is all just a slow game.

I started off with 4070 mining watching your videos.
I'm still new to all this as I just set the rig and left it alone.. but after hitting $500 I'm more interested.
What's the benefit of using say 6: 3060s compared to 3: 4070s?
I know 4070s are about double the price.. I assumed it would be double coin and haven't came across a comparison
#GPU2024, I think mining in 2024 especially here in the Philippines where our electric bill is as high as Php 13 ($0.23) would be exciting, a lot of risk-taking but hopefully very rewarding by the end of 2024. Not just monetary rewards but as a hobbyist. All we need to do is focus on our game plan and pray that all our perseverance will be rewarded.

#gpu2024 i think that major farms that have cheap electricity will do well in GPU mining - I'm excited about flux because of their parallel assets with them adding Bitcoin as the newest one. Not sure if there are AI projects that are similar to midjourney/stabledifusion or other tools like that but i would see them doing well in 2024 and onward the better they get, especially if you can create a token that monetizes people's GPU farms to create stuff through computation on the fly without needing any hardware or to make an account
Yeah I just got a good deal on a rig. 3 3080, 1 3070, 1 3060 ti, 2 1660 supers, all in a $500 server case. Also bout 2 more 3070 and 2 5700 xt for my amd rig. Getting a 30a 240 intalled tomorrow as well. Most likely will sell the 1660 and buy a 3070.
SOAT has it right(since end of 2022), the name of the game is find a project, fill a bag, HODL. Other than that there only short-term months of good profitability with GPUs and as you said, its pops off one coin then another.
How do you find projects early to mine with gpu
Picked up 8 4060ti under MSRP. They are crushing core algos and I am using unmineable to auto swap to other coins. It is working beautifully. Gpu mining in 2024 is going to be awesome imo. I believe there will be many very profitable coins to chose from. #gpu2024

Kaspa was 2022 AND early 2023 for me. RXD and Alph was 2023 and 2024 is KawpOW and Alph #gpu2024. I've picked up a bunch of 6700s and 6800xts specifically for KawPow.

#GPU2024 I am all in on GPU mining at the moment. What scares me about ASICS is that they will eventually be bricks. KSO for example. Instead of buying one of them, I would rather buy a 4070 TI, which can earn just as many Kaspa through unmineable per day, but also have other uses in the future.
#GPU2024 - GPU mining was dead in between Dogecoin and Ethereum and felt very similar. Although many coins are minimally profitable now I believe we will narrow down some winners or a singular winner very soon. Profits will rise as bitcoin rise. GPU mining will be great again in later 2024.
Thanks for the vid Hobbist. I am actually excited for gpu mining in 2024 #gpu2024 and because of my home owners assoc, I am not able to set up a shed. My thoughts is to set one up inside my garage as a self contained mining farm where it would reduce the noise of the miners. I can pick up a shed for less than building a room in the garage. It would mean I have to keep my car outside but that would be a nice trade off to set up a good filter system in the shed.

3070 is my favorite.
I think our best hope for gpu mining is AI. Something like Dynex.
#GPU2024 What do I think about GPU mining this year?? It's a tough one as CPU miners are doing so well and profit/w they do look the better option. However, I will always use some GPUS as I love the flexibility a GPU gives you, You can jump on something early and if you get the timing right make a nice profit. Mining is of course for profit, but you also do it because it's an awesome hobby! I personally prefer building a new 8GPU rig and getting that bad boy up and running, than just plugging in an ASIC and setting the settings in the admin panel..where is the fun in that!
Plus if you buy good GPUS you have high resale value.
For this year Alephium until Asics come out & Ergo is gaining in Value as well as Ravencoin.
As far as 4000 series GPU I am planing to buy 4070 Super & possibly TI super bc those are the max lenght Cards which fit into my server Cases. I unfortunately had to sell of over 14 Asus Rog Strix 3070 which had after bios update way to high temps, even after i installed -20 watt Thermal Pads & -50 watt KPC cooling paste. I bought some EVGA 3070/Ti cards which i really love but the cleaning and complete redo of all thermal pads & paste is first not cheap & even for me as someone skilled in GPU Maintenance takes per Card 1.5 up to 3 hours bc of the nuts on many screws on EVGA Cards. I would like to buy EVGA 4000;series Cards but they don’t exist so buying new MSI rtx 4070 Super Gaming x trio &/ potentially TI supers seems the best & quickest way to get as many Server Rigs up and going. For me custom 120 Volt bc i don’t have 240/Volt still living i an apartment

Suspect till H2, 2024 will feel like 2023 for GPU mining. Need bitcoin to set the way with the halving and the Fed to cut rates to set the risk "on" signal so we really get "new" money and interest in crypto. But still very very bullish for 2024/2025, for those that are still around and paying attention this is a great opportunity.
#GPU2024. I think GPU mining going into 2024 is complex and depends on if you need to sell to cover mining costs, your holding, or if your spec mining. I think it's a good time to still buy GPU's. I also know there are some coins that are profitable and only able to mine with GPU's. Nobody has a crystal ball, and only time will tell. Really great question for everyone.

BTW for me I have never sold any of my earned/mined crypto since 2014, when I take profits its just swapping out of that given coin to USDC or USDT then buying back in to that same coin when it has a major pull back and the rest goes into BTC at what I feel is the right time, but yeah never sold crypto to Fiat. #gpu2024
BTW to be clear only coins I mine I do not sell since 2014, however I also do crypto trading and to keep the two separated for tax reason i only use fiat to buy crypto i use for trading, and when i sell back to fiat after 2+x gains i only pay short term gains tax, but the mined crypto I am holding until I retire so i only pay initial cost basis for income on that crypto, then long term gains when i do end up selling in the future.

#gpu2024 I just finished my 2nd rig. My plan is to build 2 more (8 gpu) rigs in 24. I cant wait to get it going but have to accept and respect thiss a slow process. I do feel a bit uncertain about where things are headed but its no problem because we're all in this together. I'm confident we'll find our way through the fog.

I have only been mining a few years and I love it, but still only have 3 #gpu2024 just because the costs of entry, upkeep and growth are quite high. GPU mining will prosper. There are a number of established and new projects powered by GPU mining that keep it a good option. ASICs have not fully taken over all the mining yet! #GPU2024

#GPU2024 as a small home miner im finding that there is no set strategy at the moment. It feels more to me that you have to keep evolving based on your own situation and the current landscape. While hardware has been cheaper, I have split up my single rig after upgrading some older cards. Now I can better balance between speculation, yield, and profitability
I've pickup a 4060ti for it's power efficiency so #gpu2024 is the way to goooooooo

#gpu2024 - I think the almighty KawPow algorithm is going to pay off huge for us miners this year, after dealing with all the heat, high fan speeds (noise), high power bill, etc.

almost all coins are already controlled by ASIC. especially at times like this, ASIC profits are bigger than GPUs, it's confusing #GPU2024
I have been mining on my gaming rig (3080ti), but really wanted to get my first mining rig this year, unfortunately can't really decide which route to go for, thought about 40 series but too expensive, AMD 60 series looks good for all those kawpow coins but other than that there's little support for it and finally there's nvidia 30 series but can't find any good deals for those too. I guess I will just have to roll the dice 😅 #gpu2024

#gpu2024. If you buy 40 series to mine, you should definitely update your fire insurance policy. Those cards are all but garbage, unless you can correct the power delivery issues. I started mining back in the boom days of eth, same as you, and all of my rigs have lain dormant since the merge. Sept 15 was the last time my 86 gpus have been turned on. 3070 is still one of the very best cards ever made and I'll continue to buy them
I have three 4070s and one 4060ti and they've been running 24/7 6 plus months. They run soooooo much cooler than any of my 3000 series cards. But I wouldn't buy anymore at this point.
@@jgreat4785 I wouldn't trust that new 12 pin plug. It's notorious for meltdowns. If I ever did buy any 40 series cards, I would convert them to pci power for safety. But for me, 3070s are proven and don't catch on fire so I'll just stick to them

#GPU2024 Amazing work on gpu mining. You got me hocked and I'm building my first rig. 2024 will be a year of continued mining on new spec gems to build bags for the ALT season. Then, its building bags again for next season. No looking at daily profits as any coin that has any profit gets a lot of miners and the profit goes down. Keep up the amazing work.

I filled my 6000 series miner with the last of the 8. I still have one older 5600XT in the rig, but it has 3-6600s, 2-6600XTs, and 2-6650XTs. I've slowly replaced my 570s and now they are only running on my CPU miners. #GPU2024
