Metaphysics and Modern Science with Willis Harman (1918 - 1997)

This video is a special release from the original Thinking Allowed series that ran on public television from 1986 until 2002. It was recorded in about 1994. It will remain public for only one week.
Contemporary science is engaging in a process of integrating human consciousness into its body of knowledge. As an example of this new direction, Dr. Harman summarizes research into the conscious survival of the death of the body. He points to several lines of evidence suggesting a need for a larger understanding of consciousness.
Willis Harman, Ph.D., was President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences. He is author of Global Mind Change, An Incomplete Guide to the Future and Higher Creativity.
