Hi friends,
Welcome to the LML Talk Project where women's stories of infertility and infertility treatments are discussed. The heart of this project to give a voice to other women who are facing the same challenges that many before them have faced. It is my hope that others will find hope and be reminded that they are seen and not alone in their journey ahead. If you are a woman facing infertility, you don't have to go at this alone. One of the best things you can do is get a support system around you for your mental and emotional health. I hope hearing these beautiful women's stories will help guide you in your walk.
In this vlog, you'll meet Pita, a strong and determined woman who waited 13 years before conceiving. She overcame obstacles such as PCOS, fibroids, poor sperm morphology and a few interrupted IVF cycles before finally going through a full cycle to increase her chances of conceiving her first baby. This chat was one that was so inspiring and encouraging. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Thanks Pita you're such a strong woman thank you, it really hard for anyone to understand how it really feels unless you been there I feel pain and at same time happy seeing my nieces having babys and I'm here almost 45 and childless but I believe in miracle.

@@gg-mg7mcjust rewatched your video and wanted to thank you for being so honest and saying what infertility is all about. It’s very painful but when the baby comes what a blessing. I wish you well.
Is there a way to ask if a couple wants children, or should I wait for them to bring it up? I don’t want to cause anyone pain but I also don’t want to seem like I’m not interested in my friends life.
Great question! I love that you’re asking before possibly causing any pain. In my experience, it’s best to wait for friends to talk about whether they want children or not. Many times it looks like a a person or a couple don’t want kids because they’re waiting a long time to have kids but in reality, they don’t really have a choice in the matter. It’s best to wait to ask questions just in case.
I would always say DONT ask....its just as insensitive as asking why don't you have a job, or why don't own a house... Those things are easier for some people to attain, but not all, Fertility is the same...
