    Hi friends,
    Welcome to the LML Talk Project where women's stories of infertility and infertility treatments are discussed. The heart of this project to give a voice to other women who are facing the same challenges that many before them have faced. It is my hope that others will find hope and be reminded that they are seen and not alone in their journey ahead. If you are a woman facing infertility, you don't have to go at this alone. One of the best things you can do is get a support system around you for your mental and emotional health. I hope hearing these beautiful women's stories will help guide you in your walk.
    In this vlog, you'll meet Nevia, an infertility warrior who experienced multiple IUI's back to back in hopes to conceive her baby. While on the journey to conceive, she finds out that she has silent endometriosis. Join us while we chat about natural family planning and all the things Nevia experienced while on her journey.
    If you would like to share your story of infertility with me, please contact me at salina@letsmakelemonade.net.
    Happy Viewing!
    Salina

    It was really heart touching story. And I am so glad everything was fine at the end. I am going through the similar time and it is relieving listening the story of similar community. I have had three unsuccessful transfers. All embryos are good graded and have tested for chromosomal abnormalities. I was able to conceive twice however lost it at around the 4-5 weeks right after the first beta hcg test! I am going for the new cycle with different protocols. Hope this will be helpful.! Just thought to share!!

    I have questions Nevis, were you period regular? Other than doing the test, why did your doctor suspect endometriosis? I suspect I may have it but need to find a way to go about asking my doctor to test me.

    • @nivm9641
      @nivm9641 Před 3 lety +2

      I believe that was the doctors hypothesis because we had ruled so many other issues out. My cycles were generally 28-33 days, and I didn't have any symptoms commonly associated with endo. The surgery was suggested in order to confirm/ rule out her hypothesis, but we opted for IVF instead. I'm not sure I explained that clearly in the interview. My advice is to be your own advocate, and hopefully your doctor will listen. Best of luck to you!

      @@nivm9641 thank you! This is so helpful. The doctors have ruled so much things by my period is regular abut 25-28 days. I do have some of the symptoms, heavy period, back pain,and a few other. I’m definitely learning to advocate for myself and trust my gut. Thanks for sharing your story and congratulations on a successful pregnancy.
