The asking about Willie Nelson was funny because Willie and Woody are neighbors in Hawaii and talk about how they sit around on the beach, smoking pot and just hanging out together. They are best friends!
Fun fact, this movie was originally written as a series, but when the writers pitched it the studio wanted it as a movie. So they went back and wrote out the 2nd half. The part where the 2 girls stole his Caddie was the original ending to episode 1.
I think the shortest cameo was probably Robert Downey Jr appearing as the dead body of Sid Shattuck in The Nice Guys...but Bill Murray's acting was definitely better in this. LOL
I remember watching this at the theater. We had no idea Bill Murray was in the movie. Quite the bonus. Not sure if you reviewed Shaun of the Dead but that definitely is a horror/comedy
One of the best horror comedy movies in my opinion which is also more family friendly is The Frighteners with Michael J Fox. And you can't mention horror comedy without Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness trilogy!
I had such a bad day today, then I came home and my cat peed on the bed. But then I got a chance to watch this reaction, and now I’m smiling and laughing, so THANK YOU! I really enjoyed your reaction. Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks again!
I don't remember if they mention this in the movie since I haven't seen this in a long time, but one more rule is: Stay sober.👍Another thing is sleep on rooftops with climbing rope. Especially if traveling alone. I don't know about the cardio thing about big people. There are large/wide people that move like a lightweight.
I remember being at a Buffalo Wild Wings when it came out and there was a movie theater directly across from the place. As there was a local poker tournament there later that night, I told the manager at Buffalo Wild Wings that I was heading to see Zombieland to see how good it is and I would come back right afterward to tell him about it. And I walked across the street to get there. Fun times. And yes I walked right back to play the poker tournament afterward, which I won!
Housebound is a fantastic horror comedy out of New Zealand that you should check out. Anna and the Apocalypse is a zombie musical that is fun. Tucker and Dale is great. Evil Dead 2 is campy ridiculousness in the best way. Warm Bodies is a romantic horror comedy, and of course there is Zombieland 2.
i've had maybe 5 twinkies in my life. didn't get to try them 'til i was 10 or so. had one about every 5 years after, including when Shrek came out and they had green icing in them. not for me. i'll try a deep fried one someday, but the only "snack cakes" as we always called them for me are Oatmeal Pies
Not a horror comedy, but I guess more of a 'comedy-with-monster' is "Rockula," about an awkward vampire musician, who just can't seem to get things right with the girl of his dreams -- no matter how many chances he's had. It has a lot of famous musicians in the cast as well.
A good horror-comedy is "What We Do In The Shadows". It's about traditional vampires, living in modern day. Filmed in a hilarious mocumentary style. Written and directed by Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit) and Jermaine Clement
The thing about zombie movies/shows is that gas doesn't matter until they need it for a plot point lol. As for Twinkies... I like them, but I've never gone out of my way to get one or chosen one as a snack when there are other things to choose from. But if someone tosses me a Twinkie as a snack they had grabbed I'll happily eat it lol. But I actually prefer the Snowballs and would've loved that first truck they found. I love that kind of shaved/sweetened coconut. But at that point I'd just rather have a Mounds/Almond Joy instead. Easily the worst part of the film that really nearly ruins the immersion (though not enough to make me not like the movie) is the whole theme park bit with just how obvious it is that it'd be problematic yet they have no qualms turning everything on that draws the zombies in.
Jesse Eisenberg I remember from a great horror film, "Cursed." I recall Emma Stone from "The Amazing Spiderman" films. Abigail Breslin I've seen in "Electra" and "Ender's Game." And I suggest watching Woody Harrelson's other films, particularly "Kingpin" and "A Scanner Darkly."
James glad you enjoyed this movie. The rules overlaid on the screen was a cool thing they did. You need to watch Zombieland Double Tap, its the sequel. It has been fun watching your channel. I remember when you didn't know any of the actors. Now you get excited when you recognize them. Maybe you can do a special edition video, where you reveal your top ten movies you've watched so far.
It's a great movie, the rules for sure added to it. I use to really like Twinkies, before Hostess folded and another bakery bought all the recipes and proceeded to change them. 😔
Abigail Breslin is an awesome actress since she was very little. I would strongly recommend Little Miss Sunshine to the list of movies to watch, it's so original, funny yet sensitive...
Hey James! I've been watching your channel for awhile & have been trying to start a reaction channel of my own but I'm running into the issue of not being able to record footage of the movie I'm watching :/ In some of the methods I've tried, I've only been able to get footage of the subtitles & audio but not able to record the visual aspect as well (basically a black screen with only the subtitles visible). Any advice on how it is you are able do it? Thanks in advance! Love your channel :)
H&R block if filmed before a live studio audience PS the outside exterior shot of the bar that was used on the show cheers is now a H&R block are you filed with them because you want to go where everybody knows your name woodie Harrison in part by Claritin allergy medicine
I like your reactions. Try Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It is a kung-fu movie with the emphasis on a sword. Use subtitles so you can hear the actor's voices as they speak Mandarin.
I LOVE this movie! I laughed so hard the first time I watched this. Btw… Did you recognize Amber Heard? 😂 Your reaction was hilarious!!! You need to watch Zombieland Double Tap 👍
You asked for comedy/horror recommendations and the first one that came to mind was "Shaun Of The Dead", but then I looked and I see you've already done it. So let's go with this one: "The Cabin In The Woods". It was written by Joss Whedon, who among other things wrote great comedy/drama throughout his career, including the TV series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", "Angel", "Firefly", and "Dollhouse". It's also got Sigourney Weaver, so there's that. :) Here's the trailer: czcams.com/video/-e3MM9noSlc/video.html
Here is two movies I think you will enjoy just be sure to watch at sunset only not after dark 1983 John carpenters movie Christine the other movie request is joyride with Paul walker 2001 both equally great fan favorite of mine as my late mom as of last year at the tender age of 52 I'm not coming to terms with the sudden loss of my mom and coping I have not found anything to fill the void with however I believe you'd love both movie thank you for your time bye for now
That moment when you realise Buck was not a dog... First time a comedy movie gut punched me in the feels that hard.
Woody Harrelson Is my favorite actor, and this moment is one that I mention. I do not believe he gets enough credit for his versatility.
The Bill Murray cameo was a big secret when this movie was released. Viewers knew they weren’t supposed to tell.
Yeah when he said his name before watching I got sad. Similar to Matt on interstellar.
Ultimate Woody/Bill movie is Kingpin (1996)!!
I scrolled down to say this
"Great golf flick." - The Dude
YES!!!!!!
This movie is a must see asap
The asking about Willie Nelson was funny because Willie and Woody are neighbors in Hawaii and talk about how they sit around on the beach, smoking pot and just hanging out together. They are best friends!
Fun fact, this movie was originally written as a series, but when the writers pitched it the studio wanted it as a movie. So they went back and wrote out the 2nd half. The part where the 2 girls stole his Caddie was the original ending to episode 1.
Warm bodies is another really fantastic zombie movie, not really talked about much but definitely worth a watch
YESSSSSS
Bill Murray had the best, and shortest cameo in a single movie on this one. It was great. It was sad. And it was so friggin funny.
I think the shortest cameo was probably Robert Downey Jr appearing as the dead body of Sid Shattuck in The Nice Guys...but Bill Murray's acting was definitely better in this. LOL
Nah, the shortest was Brad Pitt's one second reveal as the Vanisher in Dead Pool 2. I will agree that this was one of the funniest cameos.
@@stanmann356 ohhh, true true. 😆
Another horror comedy that I would recommend is, Tucker and Dale vs. evil.
Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil is a must watch for horror comedy movies!
For horror comedy I suggest Tucker and Dale vs Evil!
Very underrated movie. Hilarious and just fun to watch.
@@chadzillas5180 yeah and I think he’d get a kick out of it.

Yes, already reacted to it. Loved it:

What made this movie so great was there was no wasted screen time and the flow was perfect. Awesome Reaction!
Thanks for watching
One of the best horror comedy movies in my opinion which is also more family friendly is The Frighteners with Michael J Fox. And you can't mention horror comedy without Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness trilogy!
Army of Darkness is great. I hope he watches it one day.
Or Student Bodies
You'll like part 2 just as much. Caddyshack and Meatballs are both classic Bill Murray movies.
The dams, windmills and wind turbines are keeping the power on. It’s explained in the second one.
The Cowboy Way was my introduction to Woody Harrelson
I had such a bad day today, then I came home and my cat peed on the bed. But then I got a chance to watch this reaction, and now I’m smiling and laughing, so THANK YOU! I really enjoyed your reaction. Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks again!
Thanks Pam, glad I helped. That movie was hilarious and I'm looking forward to the new one.
Amber Heard showing her true face.
I had completely forgotten she was in the movie....

4:39 THE ZOMBIE HAS TP STUCK TO HIS SHOE!!! 🤣
Dang...whomever told you that Bill Murray was in it should've saved it as a surprise. That's a bummer.
never had a Twinkie. Love when you are laughing your head off! Great fun
Glad you enjoyed it
One of my hubby's favorites! You and he reacted the same!

Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson reunited for a 2013 film called "Now You See Me," where they're part of a group of magicians.

The sequel doesn't get a lot of mentions, but there's a lot to like in it.
It's a GUT BUSTER!!!

Another funny/horror movie? That's easy! Tucker and Dale Vs Evil 😎
Greetings from Finland man!!! Zombieland double tap is awesome and dog soldiers has few funny moments if u ask me!!! "I'll be back" 😎
The scene with the hostess truck, if you look closely behind the closed door, there are a bunch of Twinkies there
The sequel has an after credit scene. Be sure to watch through the credits on the sequel.
I could use a Twinkie lol
Only movie I can remember Woody made a sequel
Jesse Eisenberg I remember from a great horror film, "Cursed." I recall Emma Stone from "The Amazing Spiderman" films. Abigail Breslin I've seen in "Electra" and "Ender's Game." And I suggest watching Woody Harrelson's other films, particularly "Kingpin" and "A Scanner Darkly."
I loved Twinkies when I was a kid, not so much now.
But I had a deep fried one at the Iowa State Fair and that was good. Btw great reaction.
James glad you enjoyed this movie. The rules overlaid on the screen was a cool thing they did.

I think Woody the bartender from Cheers was an Iowa farmer
Please consider reacting to _Kingpin_ which also stars Woody and Bill Murray. It’s also just as funny as this one.
I’ve never needed the sequel more in my life! Great reaction!

Classic. Always double tap your kill's man. Great reaction James
Watch "Signs" before October ends!
Another good horror comedy is Idle Hands (1999). Great for Halloween!
Before I even finish watching your reaction, you have to watch more Woody Harrelson movies.
If you’re a Bill Murray fan, I recommend Caddyshack, although I bet you’ve seen that one AT LEAST
"Zombie Kill of the Week". Excellent!
Twinkies are fine, but not my favorite. As far as Hostess snacks go, my favorite were the short-lived chocolate-coated pudding pies.
Fido is a fun zombie movie.
Also The Dead Don't Die.
Warm Bodies is a ZomRomCom. It's got John Malkovich as somebody's dad.
Yes, I second that!! Zombie Romeo and Juliet!
Certainly in my top 5 all time, has a little bit of everything
tucker and earle vs evil
