These combinations of colours and materials, various "swipe", "dirty pour" techniques etc. combined, crafted and applied with actual "artistic" skill and intention that can develop a composition in contrast to just moving some paint around (not to detract or take anything away from your beautiful creations) would really showcase the potential of what could truly be produced by taking this to a whole other level, vast fantasy Rainforest scenes with a receding perspective leading the eye through a journey of discoveries and tantalising curiosities all "dancing" in exuberant harmony, deep, rich background tones of gold and Umber, Prussian blue, Emerald, Burnt Sienna and Copper, overlayed with a tapestry of fluid effects seeming to sway like Willows in a gentle wind....
A fascinating "3D" effect could be achieved by applying layers, starting with a simple base layer of colours suggesting "distance", then each successive layer becoming progressively more "busy".
Or a Portrait, where each layer gives another gradation of contour, tone and detail with the finished piece looking as a painted face would, except, that with these techniques, the image would be truly "wonderful", this layering technique is also done using Epoxy Resin, where each layer has "stages" of the composition painted on the semi dry Resin, with the image being "built" to its completion.

You're so right, that copper is amazing. Husband loves this piece Miss C.... He's an avid outdoors kinda guy and he says campfire haha! Tomorrow is his birthday, so he's requested German Chocolate AND a painting just like this....
Am hoping the coconut and chocolate will be enough.

Absolutely fascinating
This is brilliant! Your purchase paid off! I have Liquitex Flow Extender but it’s not an alternative to Floetrol of their pouring medium, it’s an addition. Thank you for buying this to show us. I’m in Australia and doubt I can get it here, but it shows me that we should be on the lookout for different products. I wonder what it would be like in a varnish? I use the Liquitex Poring Medium for varnish - it gives a look between gloss varnish and resin. Julie from Pouring Your Heart Out demonstrated it in her varnish video - thanks Julie. It’s brilliant and much cheaper to use than resin.
Rael. Go to your local paint store. Talk to them. Everyone has a paint extender. I’m sure you will find something equivalent 😊🎨

We've used Sherwin Williams Paint products for decades for our home projects because they are so consistent and have always had superior customer service. I'm very impressed with the cell/lacing action that this "M-1 Latex Paint Additive and Extender" gave to the DecoArt Americana 24K gold. I was surprised that it didn't do much with the Golden Iridescent Copper (Fine). I'm looking forward to your further experiments with this M-1!!
