Thank you for actually distinguishing these things from one another. Your videos are incredibly helpful for my independent films - i even used your canned heat idea to simulate a desert and it worked beautifully. Keep uploading and keep giving us good ideas
Well, I think that was revenge for a number of thrown cinderblocks. He definitely scored some points while bricking you. Almost ended up a headstone. But props to the cameraman for perfect framing.
You really helped portraying and painting the whole examples and not just spewing words. That's some qualities you got there that makes me watch your shorts. 😊
Working on a shot where I'm digitally removing a flower vase. The vase was put in as decoration. The scene was shot with it the whole time and during a shot where we have a CG character, they took it away it to make it easier for VFX to add the CG. When they noticed the discrepancy in the edit, they decided to remove the vase altogether... in post. It has graduated from set dressing to become a defacto prop. ... much like an actor's career.
Aw, I was waiting for the famous cinderblock to hit your face as the video cut, but sadly not... Still a real masterpiece of a video ;) (that's the best I've got I'm afraid)
I’m a huge fan of the ingenuity that goes into making the background stuff most people don’t notice like most people I’ve always been interested in how movies are made
Yup. I’ve used this description before. However, I’ve also been in charge of costumes, props, and part of set in the same show…so sometimes the point is moot.
I did a stage show of Cinderella once and we had what i called Proptunes. Act 1 our ball gowns needed to be ready back stage so we could bring them on and discuss what we were wearing. Act 2 we actually wore them.
I love the behind the scenes stuff! I really want to see an action movie being filmed tho. I just want to know how much they actually destroy versus what is CGI
You were framed, but I also think Watson blocked the scene.
😂😂ok, you're the PunChamp 🏆
@@puertoricanboy100 Thanks. Not nearly as good as Scott, he's in a league I'll never get into.
That joke nearly bricked my device
Concrete evidence that we learn something in every one of his videos
@@kevins4213LoL 😂😂😂😂 *concrete*

Well, I think that was revenge for a number of thrown cinderblocks.
He definitely scored some points while bricking you. Almost ended up a headstone. But props to the cameraman for perfect framing.
Scott is the ultimate dad. I love these videos.
Props to Scott for his artistic intent.😄
A man of many hats, and a true Blockhead.😊
Your costars are brilliant. Hope they got on-screen credit. 💙

The cinderblock on the canvas... *chief's kiss*
Now that's what I call block art.

They only thing missing was Scott cinder block!😂
I kept it subtle, kinda
Hats off to you Scott. I was expecting another joke, so well played.
Your Son is adorable!
That's his son? How old is this dude?

Funny. Scott is the prop joke king!👏👏
The dad jokes never miss.
Great explanation, Scott!

One of my favourite channels now man. Informative and funny.
Any time i embarass my kid with dad jokes and she calls me the worst i laugh and think of you
Now that was an extended video I did not expect. First how the same object can be 3 different departments and then the secret of a prop.
"I was framed" 😂😂😂
You always make me Smile & Laugh 🥰🥰🥰
I never tire of your puns.
That wardrobe is perfect for your frame.
Thanks again Scott for making videos that brighten my day!
You really helped portraying and painting the whole examples and not just spewing words. That's some qualities you got there that makes me watch your shorts. 😊
That painting is the concrete evidence that when the whole family is together, everyone wins.😎
I love that you’ve incorporated your family. Keep them coming.

Looks like Watson made sure dad got the picture!
That was some good blocking. Props to the DP.
Dad, cinderblock!
You are a genius.
Your word play is awesome.
You deserve a million male deers. 😅
I know I'm not the only one that knew the cinder block would come up after the kid entered the scene 😂😂😂
I love the assistant. It’s a nice touch
I absolutely love the dad jokes scattered around your videos
I so love your puns, they are hilarious
Best one yet!!
"I was framed".... Didn't see that coming 😂😂😂
Like your frame, that all went over my head!
It’s a good thing the painting was perforated prop-erly

Those touch ups were a stroke of genius!
I so enjoy your videos Scott, keep it up!
I love that this is now a whole family affair. Wholesome
I love that the whole family is in on his shenanigans now.
Your content is great man.
And now it's a plot device.

Your dad jokes are the best 👌 😂😂
"And now it's a costume!" haha love it
The wife. Lol Love it.
Aw, I was waiting for the famous cinderblock to hit your face as the video cut, but sadly not...
Still a real masterpiece of a video ;) (that's the best I've got I'm afraid)
"And now it's a costume" :D
Love that the painting is a cinderblock
Haha. I love the actors!! 😅😅
This is a true gem!!!❤❤❤
Your one liners are boss level 😂
First it was a bit vague, but it was Watson that made it concrete.
Finally some one explained it so simply hopefully more people understand this!
I’m a huge fan of the ingenuity that goes into making the background stuff most people don’t notice like most people I’ve always been interested in how movies are made
He was “framed” 😉😉
Great, now he‘s even involving his family in these horribly excellent pun-festivals 😂
The distinctions are really useful to know! Thanks!
Yup. I’ve used this description before. However, I’ve also been in charge of costumes, props, and part of set in the same show…so sometimes the point is moot.
A punny propman promulgates perfectly punctured perforations
your videos help me so much with my own work for my music videos and they're always fun and informative which I appreciate so much 🎆 thank you!
I love the reference to hey, Watson, cinder block!
Explaining unions in 60 seconds

Your best video yet! Watson is a great addition!
One question: do people in props usually do "effects" like you did with the painting?
