And her bond with her son adds so much depth to his character. Castle's devotion to his family, even in the early playboy episodes, shows his greatest virtues: loyalty, love, openness, generosity of spirit, optimism and enjoyment of life. As Martha accurately observes at one point, in his relationships, he doesn't hold back.
In this scene I also liked that Kate was trying to find the silver lining for Castle by saying "maybe that was his way to see you again". She bended the rules very much in this episode for him but stayed professional and tryed to comfort him. That is love. No wonder he picks the date.

With the date to be in September it means to me that either the wedding will be the cliffhanger of this season or we will have the wedding and something happens causing a cliffhanger at the wedding. It would make to sense to have the wedding at the end of this season taking liberties with the show matching the actual date or season of the year, because then the honeymoon could be the gap of the seasons. Being weeks instead of months in show timeline. Or it could just be season 7 premiere.
i feel like they're def going to get married at the end of this season, sept or not. plus i totally see what stana said recently about something ruining their plans and so they just elope ... probably 3xk. i'm in the minority, but i don't care how they get married - i wouldn't mind them just going to the courthouse.
This worked as a nice head fake for the fans. Making us think that we would have to wait for next season. Now it seems like a Spring Wedding. Could be May 7th for the anniversary wedding. Get married on the day that they first met. (As May 7th was the date of the pilot episode.)
"September" as a date is vague, as there are 5 Mondays in September 2014. But there will be a wedding. Marlowe and Co. wouldn't pass up a chance to put Stana Katic in a wedding gown. But the wedding could lead to wrapping up the Mom part of the story.
Something will happened and they won't get married in September, Andrew Marlowe is too smart than to tell us the wedding date! The will end up eloping we won't know when
Great scene; Kate's reaction say's it all! The wedding could be the season finale (Marlowe said there could possibly be a wedding) but if it isn't, I am totally fine with that. This is most definitely NOT the last season and as long as CASKETT remains intact I trust Marlowe!
Is it just me that thinks it's so ridiculous they're waiting so long to get married, I mean they've been in love for so long, and they've known each other for so many years, why need more time? I don't know, I'm starting to lose interest in their relationship now, nothing seems exciting on the show anymore and everything is taking so long
Well, i think, the wish to have the perfect wedding, which may not be the first(with Castle) but certainly will be the last, is natural. As of about september, i completely trust Marlowe. He is capable of everything, even turn May into September))

Knowing Marlowe I'm not so sure the wedding will be in sept.They gave us a bone to resist wondering about the wedding date but i have doubts.
