Really fun and enjoyable scene Becketts got her boys under control! and at times her husband. It really is fun to see the boys working more with castle adds abit more drama and makes the chemistry together added with becketts so beautiful
I just dont get why they wrote her out of the show, why they didnt see the value in what she was asking for and...... the absolute magic of possibilities this show for many seasons to come - this is one that got away. This show wasnt Castle it was Caskett. Going to really miss this show.
No one wrote anyone off...the show was impossible to continue without beckett she asked for more money they couldn't afford it so the fired her and cancelled the show ... basically its just that they pinned it on her that saying that they couldn't afford her anymore and obviously the show cant go without her .... Even the actress might have not thought that they would do it since she had already asked for a raise in season 7 and thought they would give in demands again...all in all the show had a great run...they should have had wrapped the last episode much better as 2 hour finale it seemed too rushed

I never heard of this story before and as far as we know, only audience falling down and bad writing crew decisions was to blame there... But, to go straight to the point (if this one is potentially true) I think it’s funny how the TV studios or channels heads usually had enough money to guaranteed a salary improvement for main male characters every year but choose to not to when one of the female leader actress ask for it... In comparaison, you could ask yourself why Marg Helgenberger from CSI used to earn 350.000 $ per episode (almost the same money than David Caruso for the Miami version) when her time on screen was far less than Castle’s main actress Castle series was taking the same amount of time (6 months per year) to be broadcasted, have the same successful audiences in USA and the international market and was probably providing the same advertising screens incomes than CSI series...
@@thaleis you can't say probably to that kind of thing because castle always suffered from dwindling viewership. It also has to do with how in demand the acteess/actor is. Nathan Fillion is pretty next level in terms of clout and has a much larger following.

You know I wouldn’t have been surprised if they did get divorced like Lanie said Castle’s not going to wait forever I mean the one thing I hate about season 8 is that Beckett throws away her character development and goes off on her own and I hate that Esposito and Ryan just assume that Castle did something wrong, they know Beckett they should’ve known that something was up surely they would’ve gotten suspicious to why Beckett hired Vikram and why she was spending most of her time with him
season 8 was just bad writing and storytelling. The person beckett became after season 4 would have never done what she did in season 8, especially after everything she has benn through with castle

If you liked the Mentalist so go for Castle ! It’s the same kind of procedural shows with a close friendship among the members of a police crew and it’s bring a lot of funny situations and banters between the characters. Added to that, Rick Castle is like Patrick Jane : a kind of outsider (civilian providing his expertise to police officers) being a best-sellers novelist.
