Well, Rens friend Chinchilla has a live version of Fingers that may not be a happy song, but it'll make you feel like you can fight the whole world. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, after all.
Chinchilla just dropped a track at midnight called Little girl gone. It's such an anthem.
Oh India, you got it from the very first utterance of the word *twins*. I think you expected something bad from the first bars of Violet's Tale. If you want something more cheerful, he does have some great bars in "What you want", "Love Music 1-3", and any of his busking tracks with The big Push. They're all excellent.

Ren has several happy songs, but I think 'What You Want' should top that list. It's just silly fun with friends all the way through (but still masterful musicianship).

Great reaction. There are many great Ren songs and I think he trielt helps people who can relate - Chalk Outlines is a beautiful one ❤. If you need a quick happy breather always turn to Supertramp - happy is their super power even if the song is serious. “Logical Song” would be my recommendation as an introduction, it’s about boarding school, deep but musical and leaves you happy.

another twist in the tale.. if you go over the lyrics of Jenny's tale... she walked streets deep in the night, on high heels.. streets she'd walked a thousand times before.. she wanted to escape her life.
The story is inspired by an actual news article Ren read about a young teenager killing a prostitute and ending up dead himself.
Jenny was 14.. walking the streets.
the third song is a brainchild of Ren, written a couple years after the first 2... nothing more is known about Jenny and Screech so he filled in their backstories adding their unfortunate blood relation, and making up Violet and her backstory tying them all together.
The man is a master storyteller.

To make it even sadder, he wrote the first two parts after reading a newspaper article buried in the middle of the paper about a 14-year-old boy who had stabbed and killed a prostitute. He thought it was terrible that such a horrible thing would be so far back, thought of as so unimportant.
He's actually got a bunch of upbeat tracks. Some of them have sadder elements, but are still a great listen. Losing It, The Hunger, Power, What You Want, Bittersweet Symphony, Right Here Right Now, Ocean, Humble.
For something dark and a bit comedic, maybe try What Went Wrong and What Went Wrong part 2, with Sam Tompkins.
There's also a bunch of videos where he's busking, either alone, with Sam, or with the band the Big Push. I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop is one of the standout tracks. Earned It/Man's World is also quite excellent.

"I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" is a freaking INCREDIBLE medley/mashup performed by Ren and the band The Big Push that he was a member of (not currently together as a band -- but they might get together at some point; I think the main reason they wrapped up the band was probably that Ren had to leave to go to Canada for treatment for his Lyme Disease). Also upbeat and fun, fun, FUN!
"Chalk Outlines" and "How to Be Me" are NOT happy, but are AMAZING.

You said at 19:33, "This world is sick" , he said the same in his song "Sickboi". The story of Jenny is based on a true story (a young street walker get killed) then he created the rest. Maybe the twins came from his dad who abused of Violet. There is also a live with crowd of this song and it's awesome. He used a 360° camera for see him and the crowd with our mouse and his show was phenomenal.

BTW, I don't believe Ren has anything to do with the advertisements on CZcams. I pay 11.99 a month for my subscription and I don't see commercials anytime, anywhere. Also, Ren NEVER blocks his music by copyright. I have heard other reactors say that if that happens to reach out to Ren and he will have it removed.

First time i see a reactor guess the rest of the story at "Two twins aligned side by side", most ive seen only get it after hearing "Screech". I also knew the end when i heard twins, although i though he'd say Jenny and James and let the listener join all the dots.

There is more under the surface. Stevie was on to something wanting to know why Violet was silent. He called her a liar. Whose babies did Violet carry? Why wasn't Patrick at home, why was Screech's girlfriend busy or who with? Why was Screech so deranged in the first place? Not expecting the end is quite the normal thing to do, it is well planned to be that way. You did a great reaction there. Ren is originally from Wales, has last lived in Brighton, England, which he still calls his home but has been in medical treatment in Calgary, Canada for all of 2023 and plans to stay until February (last I heard). Ren's new video Money Game Part 3 starts off with piano music, but the first thing he sings is Violet's theme.

I’m sure you heard this, but he read the newspaper that one sibling code announce sibling, but didn’t know they were actually twins because they were in the system. He made up the rest of the story, but he sure can tell a tale. Hopefully you have found some of those fun happy songs by now.
