I would say the ME-163B (30mm) is a great plane if you know how to play energy, boom and zoom into furballs when enemies are slow, and of course aim. 30mms work best when you're very close to them from it's garbage velocity. When it hits, super satisfying. The MiG-21MF is at best mid, 80% of the time it's shit since you get slammed out of the sky by radar missiles, way better IR missiles and guns. The 200 round 23mm is mid, at best the aircraft is a glass cannon with RWR to notify you of your impending doom and 64 flares that only lasts so long. Best I can get with it are flanks with the 23mm since the A-10s, Su-25s, F4s etc auto release flares. The R-60s are super easily distracted, even with just 2 flare shots. MiG-19S is a very high skill ceiling aircraft. It's strength is also it's achilles heel, since it can't maneuver for shit at higher speeds, forcing you to slow down in furballs which then forces a missile up your ass since it's a sexy 9.3. The MiG-15Bis is great, a energy monster that takes skill. It can outturn almost anything if done well. Fares best at vertical pitch since it has ass roll rates. Best tactic is to boom and zoom, or lure them so that you can play into energy to make them bleed out. Then, a free kill or two. The velocity is slow yes, but not horrible like the Mk108s. You don't need to lead as much unless they're going horizontally across your screen at 900-1200km/h. Don't be afraid to spray abit since just a 0.2-0.3 second burst isn't going to hit anything unless you are smigol himself.
MiG-21MF is my favorite plane in the game, you are seriously not looking at it's stengths downsides: what you mentioned + terrible energy retention, gun has bad velocity and requires you not to get trigger happy pros: Ecxellent nose authority, you have an RWR so you can hug the ground or notch when it goes off, amazing speed, acceleration, strong engine and great thrust to weight ratio, R-60s can pull 30G turns so they cannot be avoided without flares (so they might be weaker in uptier but are basically death sentences to your foes in a downtier), losing speed very easily is actually a good thing when someone is trying to reverse you, gun does massive damage whenever it hits with more than one bullet, which it does often with a fire rate of 3860 RPM. all you said is true, but it isn't the whole story at all. it's an outstanding fighter, if you know how to deal with it's few weaknesses. btw bit of a tip for you personally, if SARH missiles screw you over, stay below 2km and when RWR goes off, turn towards the ground or 60 degrees away from the direction the lock is from (ground-hugging strat and notching strat respectively) and shoot chaff a bit after you start turning. once RWR shuts up you are safe. ground hugging sacrifices your position since it solely relies on dropping all altitude and letting ground clutter do the dodging for you, but it works 100% of the time. notching is less consistent, but it requires less dedication and works at any altitude
This video helped me so much. I went from like rank 3 to the 262 in like 2 days. This format video would be so helpful for niche nations like Sweden, France, etc.
ME264, great lions and xp, 4 thousand pound bomb load kills all bases in its BR with 2 of em. The thing just climbs, pain in the ass to descend but you can just cut the engines take a slight dive and gain no speed while dropping altitude. Not to mention you can regularly boom and zoom other heavy bombers and your 2 20 mm turrets on the top can shred through most things instantly
The Bf 109 G-14 is the best of the family imo, just low enough BR to barely avoid the Ju 288 nightmare, but even if not it still has a great engine, good armament, very light airframe and you can confidently fight anything at your br as long as you have a even a slight energy advantage. you also missed out heavily on the interceptor Me 410s, which are seriously underrated and overlooked.
The He 100 is so ridiculously fun. Im pretty sure its the fastest plane in its entire fightable br. It has the speed and climb rate of a 3.0-4.0 plane at 1.7. Ive hit 750kph, in a 1.7?!!?!! The mgs aren’t that bad, u get 3 of em and a decent amount of ammo. At its BR its a little below average compared to US’s 50 cals. Just make sure you’re not right behind someone shooting into their tail cause it’ll take a long time to kill them. Always attack from above at the cockpit or engine. The worst part of the plane is the fact that the entire wing is filled with coolant. One bullet into either wing and ur leaking water. The entire tail and rudder structure is filled with oil. So basically if u take a hit anywhere on this plane you will start leaking water, oil, or both. This is not a good plane to attack bombers with, they only have to hit you once or twice and ur going back to the runway. This plane is so fast that it makes those weaknesses worth it. You’ll be cruising about 100kph faster than anyone else. And in a dive, easily 300kph faster than most opponents.

I play the G/91 R4 all teh time and it kicks ass still i average at least a kill in a bad game and on a good maybe even an ace its an amazing jet and deserves love even if it is a premium jet

I’ve been focusing on strike planes but I think I might have to switch to fighters sadly. I hate flying to the map and before I even get there a fighter just 1 shots my pilot because I’m so slow and absolutely awful turn time
the F-4F is by far the best German rank 7. It has amazing performance, amazing bomb load, and an amazing gun. I actually much prefer it over the F-4S I have in the American tech tree. And the IDS is the best grinder for German rank 8. Slap a talisman on it and deliver bombs. It should have stayed at 10.7 though...
I honestly prefer the F-104G over the F-4F. It doesn't get radar missiles either but the insane acceleration and climb rate more often than not allow you to utterly dictate the terms and conditions of any engagement.
Great vid! I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I play on the ps4 and have followed a controller setup guide for game setup, aviation, and army. My problem is starting any of the tutorials. Once I load into one the game tells me to press space bar to start but im on controller. Ive looked through everything I can think of in controls and can’t figure out how to fix this. Any help y’all can give is appreciated:)
Go to controls and poke around until you find what is bound to the "space bar" and then change it but it's prolly a glitch or something. I play on PS4 as well and ended up hooking up a mouse and keyboard and it made things alot easier once you get it set up how you like.
