Comment of the day, but if Jose will win something with nowadays Chelsea (I mean those types of players and their mentality), it would be a true miracle and his the biggest victory in his career. Its because his coaching doesnt fit anymore. I used to think he is mastermind and always knows what to do, but after I saw Tottenhams All or Nothing I realized he is type of coach I wouldnt want to play for. I felt like he is so personal to some players for no reason, maybe only because of his ego.
To be fair, Roma fans seemed to absolutely adore him, mostly because of his personality and his will to give academy players an opportunity (among other things, he notably developed Bove and Zalewski, who had made their debuts under Fonseca, into regular starters). The problem is, the board also needs to look at the results, and they just weren't there this season... Plus, his bad temper has hit new lows with all of his red cards and head-scratching rants as of late, and that's likely another aspect Friedkin has got increasingly tired of. That being said, I think most people in Rome will wish him well!

It's waned in years since he left United, Spurs didn't take kindly to him either cause people notice the bag side more. It just took ROma fans a while to get over the fact the great Mourinho chose them, I think he's leaving Roma on better terms largely due to the high profile fallout in recent years, he's learn his lesson

Jose at roma confirmed something. He is now a fantastic knockout manager but a very average league manager. He just can't seem to go on runs in leagues and that has been the case for years. I'm sure if he was at city or bayern he would still win leagues but jose from 10 years ago would easily have that Roma side top 3 no problem and in a title race. He cannot work that magic anymore however when it comes to European competitions. A Europa league with united. A conference league with roma who never existed in Europe before him and a Europa league final last year that if it wasn't for Anthony Taylor he would have definitely won proves that in knockout tournaments he is very much still the special one So I think Jose isn't done at club level but he should take a national team for now. Consider the FFP situations Roma are in, and the player profiles of Roma squad… there’s only so much a manager can do he’s not a magician. Many players at Roma are loanees and also the injury list is long. Started following Roma because of Mourinho…

When he uses the famous "Gatling rant media rant machine gun" where he fires in all directions (referee, opponents, fans, pitch, weather, gods, fixtures, calendar, climate change, import taxes, etc) this is where he loses me. FC Porto, Chelsea FC, Internazionale and many Real Madrid fans love him. It's when things go south, which they inevitably will go at some point with every team and manager, that he compounds the pressure by firing in all directions and comes out with all sort of excuses. Other than that, his press conferences and interviews are amazingly fun. Eddie Jones type of fun... "For sure! I sink so." from an FC Porto fan!
