- After drooling over this for almost 2 years, I finally got my hands on the Niu M Series, and frankly, I do not want to ever let go of it. There. I said it. I'm having the time of my life on a scooter. Electric scooter. I'm afraid you will just have to deal with it ;)

I’m not going to lie, I have worn full track ensemble on this... 😏💁🏼♀️ First time I rode this, I had a plan to take it for a quick spin and then take the HP4 out, so put on my leathers, but had so much fun on the NIU, I never took the HP4 out that day 😆 So rode the scooter all day in my leathers 👌🏼🤣

Joanna do you have to wear a helmet? ( Legally ? ) I agree they are great to get around on! Look at Italy..you can park them anywhere and I wonder why they aren't more popular in the USA
I don't understand why anybody would want to ride without a lid. Ever been shat on from a great height by a seagull whilst riding ? Its bad enough in a lid with visor .

you should try a Honda MSX 125, no space for the bag (rucksack or top box?) but equally as practical, fun, about 100 miles to a fiver and does 60 so can keep up with traffic
MickyOTW Er no space for the bag but equally as practical? The scooter is silent, no gears, step through and electrical - so no! I hope the colour matched bag which you carry with you was cheaper than a top box 😀
@@stevebolton8471 no gears, barely keeping up with traffic, stepping through vs lifting my leg, silent, 40 mile range then hang around for it to charge isn't my idea of practical - and I've got a rather fetching wicker basket fitted :)

So it is brilliant to pop around to local shops and things. The drawback that I see in comparison to gasoline scooters is no real storages. Many gasoline scooters have spacious storage under the seat. You could spill the pancake syrup too easily on this!

I just rode one of those today. We finally got them in the USA. I ordered the Nqi gt... but they had this M to testdrive. So awesome! I love the size.. and the zero sound was a relief.. was great fun! I'd love to get the M for the size alone...but the 30mph limit just isn't quite enough for my area. We don't have the option of that blue color here either.
Yes here where I commute need at least 35 mph, but some CZcamsrs hit 31 and 32 mph 🏁
I'd be interested in a 125 equivalent, I've always thought 50cc to be a bit dangerous really in modern day traffic. Too many cagers tailgating and passing too closely.
Check out the NIU NGT 50 mph top speed, bucket loads of power, over 100 mile range a 3.5 hour charge as standard. It's on the NIU website.

What are you suggesting? How far does one slide if they fall off at 25mph? Do you really think I need leathers for protection from abrasion?
If my HP4 could go 25mph max, I probably wouldn’t worry about leathers on her either.

For your own security I recommend wearing proper motojeans, helmet, proper gloves and a leather jacket. I had some crashes racing with my bicycle. Even 30 miles per hour is enough to let you suffer a lot from the accident. Some of my abrasions lasted more than 6 month to heal...
You can't wear a lot of gear on a bicycle. Racing on a bicycle is more muscle work than riding an electric scooter.
So please wear proper cloth.

I recognise the roads your riding on. You live not far from me! I would love a scoot like this and I know exactly what you are saying. I just want to pop to the shops ect and not faff on with the big bike.
