I find Toji's death speech really interesting. He was shunned by his clan and jujutsu society for having 0 cursed energy. Then there's Satoru Gojo, born into one of the big 3 clans, with the Gojo clan's unique six eyes ability and hereditary limitless technique. He was praised and spoilt from the moment he was born, put on a pedestal by those around him. And now he was newly awakened as the pinnacle of jujutsu. To Toji, Gojo represented everything he wasn't. Everything he was dehumanised for not being. He wanted to take him down, to prove to himself he's good enough. So despite leaving the Zenin clan, telling himself he didn't care what they thought, in the end his craving for that validation was what killed him.
And to top it all off, Toji was a gambling man who kept losing (gambled literally for money, and gambled during his fight against Gojo), but his last gamble was letting Gojo know about Megumi so he wouldn't be sold, and this was the gamble he finally won, but he would never know if this gamble worked out, he just had to hope (well he found out eventually later on....)
It's interesting that both Toji and Maki were both born to the Zenin clan pretty close to each other. Do Heavenly Pacts also run in families?

Geto was there for Gojo when Gojo was heading towards darkness and on the path to becoming a villain, but when it was Geto's turn, there was no one for him and that's why they both ended up at different sides

About the grades' difference, Geto wasn't talking about him and Toji. Geto meant that if there is a 2 grade difference between him and the cursed spirit he tries to absorb, he'll absorb it without any conditions. Toji's worm was obviously several grades weaker than Geto. So he tried to absorb the spirit and take away Toji's tools. Unfortunately, this didn't work out since the worm had a master-servant relationship with Toji. This means that the spirit cannot be absorbed until Toji, its master, is killed. Btw, this is the reason why in in the JJK0 movie Geto tried to kill Yuta first to absorb Rika.
Also, he can't absorb a special grade curse just by killing it's master (Yuta). Just like SPOIIIILEEERRRS:
Later in Season 2, fake-Geto had to have Mahito worn down before he could actually absorb him. Geto would have had to wear Rika down after killing Yuta to absorb her.
He wasn't able to absorb the worm during the fight because Toji cancelled it with the ISOH, it had nothing to do with its relationship to Toji

Yes there is a difference in his eyes if you notice, before his death Gojo didn't have crystalline eyes, after his death and his fight with Toji his eyes changed to the ones we see nowadays, great hard work from the animators.
I think the difference is probably just because of knowing RCT or not, so when he has RCT unlocked, he can constantly refresh the eyes to be at peak performance basically, and i think that's why they look like that now.
@@thekamotodragon and he's not actively doing it either, he basically puts it on automatic 24/7 because he knows no one is strong enough to exhaust his CE and RCT until he starts fighting [ REDACTED ] then he starts taking serious damage to his body and brain so he puts more active effort into his RCT

Also you should take notice what Fushiguro Toji says to Geto when he is down.
They make us care for Geto in this short section of backstory, which tells you how good this anime really is. Even events that happened in the past, INVOLVING THE MAIN VILLIAN OF THE SERIES, has us feeling for him. JJK really is the best

If you remember the line (you are late satoru in the jjk 0 movie) at that time gojo was late for meeting suguru and suguru was almost dead. And this time we see when gojo says you are late suguru…this happened when gojo was dead from inside(the gojo that geto knew the childish gojo)and suguru couldn’t save him…….its just heartbreaking 💔

For clarity, Gojo isn't asking if they should kill all the cultists because he's going down some evil nihilist arc - he's hurting. He blames the cult for the murder of a girl he was supposed to protect, whom he became close with. it's a revenge/retribution angle, rather than him just devaluing human life. Thats why it worked when Geto reminded him that it wouldn't accomplish anything, and that the people responsible have already fled.

Geto absorbs toji cursed spirit and he uses it to fight with Yuta in the movie..(he brings out playful cloud cursed tool from it )🔥❤
Ascended Gojo truly is a spectacle to see. Toji giving him a challenge really pushed him to ascend
and u notice also how geto while standing in the blue light is getting consumed by the darkness under him. very nice detail to signal him loosing his side trying to convince himself not to kill non-sorceres.
From that death, Gojo was able to control the reversal technique completely, because previously he often failed to do so😅

Gojo was already the strongest, but he finally unlocked his full potential and basically became a living God. Flexie, the attention to detail you display as a first-watch reactor is incredible. Easily one of the best in that regard despite being rather new to the game. Reactors can be super irritating at times because their analysis often point to a lack of attentiveness or to them brushing over a significant portion of the subtitles. You, AutoSave and JDanime are among the very few who fully pay attention to what's going on and make sure they miss little. It makes the analysis far more interesting and even gives new perspectives to people who've already watched the whole thing and/or read the manga.

I would like to explain one thing.
Gojo at the moment of almost dying, focus his ALL solely on understanding of curse energy.
That’s how he understood reverse curse technique.
He didn’t just learn Reverse Curse Technique (called RCT).
He Awakened his mind to complete understanding of Curse energy.
The Toji Event is VERY VERY Important in the Jjk universe, If that event didn’t happen, a lot wouldn’t have happen. And Gojo would be strong… but not as strong as he’s Now.
Also the Worm curse on the ground was asking for its "mom" because it’s not Any type of curse. it’s a Curse Womb; that’s why Geto couldn’t submit it by force; it’s an S Rank curse

That curse isn’t a curse womb, it’s just a regular curse spirit. The reason geto couldn’t absorb it is because that curse has a master servent relationship with toji, so it’s harder to absorb for geto. That’s why in the movie geto wanted to kill yuta first before trying to absorb rika, because of that relationship. Curse wombs just mean they’re under developed curses that could go on through a transformation to become so much stronger, like the Dagon for example in shibuya or the special grade curse megumi and yuji fought in season 1 in like episode 4 where it was a curse womb initially then became that curse

The only reason Gojo won in the second fight is because Toji did not know about Hollwo Purpose or what it does. He was not prepared for something that erases whatever it touches! That's all. He considered Red and Blue and was confident to be able to deal with them effectively.

always sad the fact megumi thought his father named him megumi cuz the name could be used for both genders and him being abandoned led him to guess he was indesired by his father and that his father didn't care about him at all while the reason was it means megumi is his blessing

One i can already answer is that Gojo acutally send Yuta to Miguel to train his techniques and get stronger after Gojo fought Miguel and knew how strong he is, also Yuta is SECOND only to Gojo in Strength and even ahead of Gojo in terms of his cursed energy amount due to Rika, it is stated that Yuta has "limitless" amounts of CE (Cursed Energy) BUT Gojo technically cant run out on CE cause he is barely using or wasting cursed energy due to his six eyes! Hope i could help, if you have more, just ask! :)

People were upset that this arc won so many awards last year and while I understand their point it’s absurd to just disregard how incredible these 5 episodes are at all levels
It won awards? Which sort? I’ve never heard of an award which is given to anime like this, but now I’m curious.
But I’m not at all surprised it did. It is one of the most beautifully executed arcs I’ve seen in anime, at least in my experience. Particularly for it’s genre.
So to explain theres two types of cursed energy
Cursed energy is created by emotions, remember thats why gojo had yuji watch those movies
Negative emotions generate negative cursed energy
Positive emotions generate positive cursed energy
Negative cursed energy increases damage, and sorcerors channel it into their fists
Positive cursed energy heals
Humans in general only generate negative cursed energy, it is a very rare occasion for humans to experience happiness and bliss
Curses can generate both positive and negative energy, which is why they can regen over and over again
Hunans can only generate positive energy by using a reverse cursed technique which multiplies negative energy with negative energy to create positive energy
1) positive energy isn’t created by positive emotions, it’s created manually by multiplying curse energy onto itself to create positive energy (reverse curse energy)
2) curses cannot use positive energy to heal. It’s impossible for them to use rct to heal themselves, they use regular curse energy for that.
3) reverse curse energy is like poison to curses since they’re made up of entirely curse energy, so they can’t use it. Only sorcerers have to use positive energy to heal

Curses absolutely do their mastery of cursed energy is so high that to them there is no difference between positive and negative cursed energy. The author has stated numerous times that negative cursed energy is used to attack and destroy while positive energy does the opposite it heals and protects
3. Positive energy would instantly wipe put cursed spirits because it completely negates cursed energy which is what cursed spirits are made out of. Just like positive emotions countering negative emotions
However the energy created via RCT can only be used for healing or for reversing techniques the author describes it as negative energy running backwards, but they stated that mahoragas sword was pure positive energy and would completely wipe out any cursed spirit.
nope you’re wrong. It’s already been stated positive energy can only be created through multiplying curse energy onto itself to create reverse curse energy. It’s not something that comes naturally, that’s why not every sorcerer knows how to do rct cuz it’s so difficult.
And like I said, it’s impossible for curses to use reverse curse energy, it’s like poison to them, you would have known that if you read the manga and not believing your incorrect info lmao. Multiple times it’s been said throughout the story. When sukuna talked to the special grade curse in season 1 mentioning it. In shibuya arc when sukuna fought mahoraga and said that the spear that’s on mahoraga’s right arm contains reverse curse energy and it would kill any curse spirit if that hits any curse. Later in the culling game arc (manga spoilers) when yuta was fighting the cockroach special grade curse and one shot it by outputting reverse curse energy into it to kill it. Curse spirits can’t use positive energy to heal they just use curse energy

The way Toji was written, had little moments in the show but his character made the most impact on every that happens in the current timeline. Toji fought his instincts to fight Gojo because it was a matter of pride for him.
Flexi your visceral reactions are the best. Genuine reacts I lovem. A lovely theme is Toji has expended quite the effort to calm and dull Gojos senses so he is not alert so he wanted in a sense a calm Gojo so he can end him. Ironically it is a calm enlightened Gojo that feels no rage and anger but only calm tranquility and elation that ends up being Toji's undoing(be careful what you wish for lol).
Also another interesting gem is on their first meeting Toji appeared behind Gojo and Gojo was able to notice the so called hidden invisible man standing behind him. On their last meeting, Gojo is able to see the so called invisible man and appear in front of Toji without Toji noticing him standing in front of him. Ironically the same false sense of victory and security Toji instilled within Gojo which caused Gojo to let his guard down and be stabbed causing Gojo to fight in an agitated state against a cool calm collected Toji ended up being instilled within Toji which caused him to let his guard down and be seen. This then caused Toji's collectedness to be disturbed causing him to fight in a high alert agitated state against a high awareness but cool, calm, collected Gojo which led to Toji's demise.
Ironic that the hidden invisible man who's forte is being hidden, obstructing vision(as he did with the fly heads) and obfuscating to render his opponents unaware prompted Gojo's ascent to a new higher level of "awareness"(enlightenment) as he learned the secrets of cursed energy.

Geto most likely thought that he would be retrieving two corpses when he went to the Star Religious Group building. That's part of the reason he's so, so shocked to see Gojo alive and well. I'm pretty sure it's implied that Gojo went after Toji the second he was able to, meaning when Geto was healed and went to find Gojo, there was no body there to find. He was still under the impression Gojo was dead and the Star Religious Group had likely taken both him and Riko's body. (Others have already pointed out the change in Gojo's eyes, but notice how him and Geto are so close that he IMMEDIATELY noticed something was different. Something had changed.)
the next episode is, for me, the best one in season 2
The author said in an interview if geto didn't stop gojo here he'd most likely would've been on the other side. It was so crucial. But when geto needed him he wasn't there.
Just to clear it out, when he was bragging about how blessed geto and gojo were, megumi means blessing. That's when he remembered he named his son Megumi

Gojo's Negative Cursed and Reverse Cursed Positive Hue is Blue and Red.
Hinting us when did Gojo turns to the positive side and Geto to the Cursed side. Becoming total Opposite to their ideology in season 02 episode 01.
2) Geto's POV understanding:
Gojo's Cursed Techniques are
Cursed Amplification Blue - Power Of Attraction.
Reversal Red - Power Of Repelling.
Geto gets pulled into the darkness created by People (you can see the floor turning darker around Geto as he explains not to hurt humans to gojo)
And gojo being GOJO, repelled it all. (Gojo is glowing bright Red in a dark hallway)
unaware of what was set in motion on that day.....

It's really interesting to imagine how Geto, one of the villains, probably managed to avoid the birth of a monster at that post credits scene.
