@@FlexiejayAnime Everytime there's that black and red energy animation it's a black flash. Yuta also pulled one against Geto. And Nobara did too, at the same time as Yuji on the last episode of season 1.
That best friend line from Gojo always gets me. As someone caught up with the manga, when you consider how lonely it must be for him as the strongest sorcerer. He genuinely had a friend in Geto that was a fellow special grade, and could somewhat understand him, just to lose that and be alone again.
Besides wanting to change Jujutsu society, it also makes sense he wants to train these kids to be as strong or above him, to have others to understand him.
Remember when yuji died in season 1 and gojo mentioned three students with the most potential to reach his level.

If you didn’t know, the manga for this was the first piece of JJK content made. It got so popular that the author made the main series with Yuji as the new protagonist, since Yuta’s story was finished. The movie also added some extra scenes with characters and other things from season 1
Also, if you go back through season 1, they mention Yuta quite a few times. They even referenced Rikka being freed at one point
There were some callbacks to Season 1 and some plot lines for Season 2.
1. That special grade cursed tool, Playful Cloud (the three section staff) was the one which Maki told she hated in Season 1 Episode 19. It was because Geto previously had that.
2. We were introduced to Yuta in Season 1 Episode 5, where Gojo talks about sorcerers having the potential to reach and surpass his level, along with Kinji Hakari and Megumi Fushiguro.
3. Nanami's record of four black flashes was shown here.
4. Todo wiping out several first grade curses without using Boogie Woogie and using it against the special grade was shown here too, which was said by Megumi in Season 1 Episode 8.
5. That end credit scene. It happened during Season 1 Episode 14, when Gojo was overseas in another country. He went to visit Yuta.
The plot lines for Season 2 are:
1. That worm like curse around Geto's body from where he draws out weapons.
2. Geto did not have stitches on his forehead yet.

@@Akshay_PJO personally I don’t even think it’s that hard to understand. To be fair I guess I did read it still frame and not as a moving picture like the anime will be. However I think with all the explanations that are gonna be had in comment sections and videos already explaining it, it shouldn’t be a big deal. Especially because jjk already has a very very deep and constructed power system. I always found people hating things for being “complicated” weird, but I do understand it to an extent. Also I am so hype for his domain I’m gonna be hitting Hakaris signature move all day 😂😂
@@nateb188 I agree with you mostly, but considering many reactors don't even venture anywhere near their comment sections while reacting, that doesn't play out well. I don't at all dislike smn just cuz it's complicated, but as you said, still frame vs animation probably makes a world of difference. I mean, take the example of Nanami's black flash record. How many reactors have you seen actually register that?

Yuta is so hype. He basically has a limitless well of curse energy and he's spending his time learning as many curses as he can. Can't wait to see him kick ass in the future!

This movie have somes refs of s1 like why Maki didn't like to use Playful Could; we also got the moment where Nanamin hit the 4 consecutives Black Flash and also the moment when Todo defeated the thousand curses by himself (he was in a hurry to watch his idol show 🤣), so before watching s2 i recommand you to watch the first trailer of s2 so you can better understand where the story is going, stay safe and see you in the next reaction !! 🤩
The fact that Todo pulled such a feat because he was in a hurry to not to miss Takada-Chan's show is so funny and so in character coming from him 😂
Todo did not defeat 100 curses, it was said he beat 5 grade 1s without his technique and only used it against a special grade, so 6 high level curses in total (plus many low levels probably, but 100 was never mentioned in relation to Todo)
You know the fun thing is, technically JJK0 was supposed to be just an oneshot but fans loved so much Gege continued the story, so, technically, Yuta supposed to be the main character lol
My theory is he made Yuji instead because Okkotsu was too "Deku" in personality and it was right at the time BNHA was popular

Yuta's main goal of freeing Rika was complete. He's just doing side missions now. So he went with Yuji

@@xRakanishu Gege has said in an interview that he imagined Sukuna as a cool villain first, and then built the rest of the story around him. So either he made Jjk 0 and couldn't figure out how to tie Sukuna in, or imagined Sukuna after the fact and just decided to start over.
P sure it was written to pitch the story to a shonen magazine and see if they'd like what he had to offer
I really like how you viewing this movie lined up with the manga, we are just seeing a few sorcerers true potential that first appear in this movie! I also wanna mention Miguel vs Gojo is very much an anime only fight, in the manga it's more just said Miguel holds his own against Gojo, helps the sorcerers and takes Yuta under his wing to train in Africa
Geto was one of the best things about this movie, I loved his character. Especially that scene where he declares "war" really cool seeing him alongside Gojo.
Yuuta was such a fire mc in this, that people began to hate on Yuuji a little bit and his backstory with Rika is beautifully tragic.
Which personally I never understood the Yuji bashing. Yuta is a strong character but he has such generic modern MC energy like Deku, Tanjiro etc. Maybe it's my old-school bias but Yuji is a lot more like Goku/Gon/Yusuke, a derpy brawler MC that I've always enjoyed watching.

I watched this in theaters. Nanami wasnt in the manga for jjk0 so when i saw him first appear i GEEKED. Then when we saw the black flash record i was squealing in my seat.
It is shown to us the moment Nanami set the four consecutive Black Flash record

the thing is, yuta was supposed to be jjk's real mc, but instead they chose yuji. also this is abt a year before yuji came along if u didnt know
This isn't really true though. JJK0 was originally a one shot manga, but it did really well, so Gege (the author) decided to expand upon it, and so JJK as we now know it, was created. Gege needed a new protagonist for the series because Yuta's story arc was already finished (at least for the most part), so Yuji was in turn written.

@@theokayishgamer Yujis Arc was suppose to end after "The Fearsome Womb" arc and was expected to die there so Megumi could take his over as the new mc. But the mangaka eventually changed it in the end.
This takes place one year before s1, not a few years, the most telling of this is Maki, Panda and Inumaki being 1st years while they are 2nd years in the s1 time line, they also mention Yuta participating in the exchange event "last year" in S1 ep 14 I think.

When you will start Season 2. I recommend you to watch only the Blu-ray version ( because all the animation will be finished)
IIRC Yuta was supposed to be the MC but the author realized he wasn't a good fit which is why he made Itadori as the MC and made Yuta into more of a future side character.
This movie was produced in less than six months. It resulted in the director of S1 and this movie, Sung-Hoo Park to leave the studio. He also animated like 60% of the action scenes himself. MAPPA was extremely lucky they got a talented successor for Park, named Shota Goshozono as the new director. JJK has been an absolute hell for the people involved in making it. Glad you liked the animation!!!
Yuta's healing ability It's something called "reverse cursed energy"
Basically cursed energy has a negative charge, but by reversing the charge (multiplying the negative charge by itself to generate positive charge) reverse cursed energy is generated, whose primary ability is the ability to reverse almost any injurie
It is an extremely difficult skill and It's even more difficult to use on other people
As for him using Inumaki's technique: Yuta's cursed technique, Copy, allows him to copy the innate techniques of anyone or anything that he or Rika consumes; since Rika absorbed Inumaki, Maki and Panda earlier to protect them, he theoretically would be able to copy their techniques, but since Maki has no innate technique and Panda is an inorganic being Inumaki was the only one he copied
Naturally, there is a limit to how many innate techniques a human can have (three or four, if I'm not mistaken) and if you exceed that limit your brain can explode, literally
But to avoid that, Yuta copies the techniques and stores them inside Rika, and since she is a curse, she doesn't have that limit and can have as many techniques as she wants (although theoretically she isn't able to use them) and whenever he needs to use a technique he simply asks her to transfer the technique from her body to his

alot of movies are done really well recently such as mugen train. i dont think its to wild to say that the jjk movie is probly the best modern anime movie to ever be made so far, and the fact that its canon the show aswell makes it even better so it isnt just some weird side story to be forgotten.

The Glasses/Blindfold thing is all to do with his eyes.
He wears glasses when he was with the higher ups because he wanted to be indimitating. Showing them all his glowing eyes, reminding them exactly who he is and what his capable off. He then goes back to the bandage/blindfold the rest of the time because it better covers his eyes.
The reasons he has a black blindfold in the show is because.. well its because its easier to draw and animate. Solid black takes alot less work then all the lines needed for bandages + the shading on it. However, storywise, I like to think he started using a black blindfold after the movie to mourn Geto.
What Gojo said to Geto was the same thing when Yuta asked who gave him his ID back. "You're my bestfriend, the only one I ever had."

Rika dies in 2011. The delinquent was 17 in 2018, meaning he was born 2000-2001. I doubt he was driving without a license (more than once) at 9-11 years old.
It's a popular theory but if we consider that he was in juvie I doubt he had the age to attempt driving back when Rika died 😅
