After an awesome day of catching monster fish vertical jigging and trolling offshore I show you how to make fish dip. This is my homemade fish dip recipe and we are using smoked amberjack for this catch and cook.
BUT it's not just an amberjack catch and cook. I also catch a sailfish. I have only hooked into a sailfish one other time but did not get it close to the boat. We landed this sailfish and caught this sailfish trolling on wire leader!

The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight czcams.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!

Just letting you know the first jack you caught was an almaco jack
The way you can tell them apart is that the almaco with be more oval shaped and have a really big dorsal fin
They have no size limit and are very good to eat

I have the same flutter jig mold. You have the right idea with the spray paint. I go to all kind of lengths painting mine. Three coats of glow powder paint, then reflective scale finish followed by 3-d eyes. Then you make one drop and a king cuts it off! I have cut one corner by just filling in the eye cavity with a permanent marker. Old timers used to take their homemade diamond jigs and just scratch the lead with a butter knife to make them shiny when they lost their luster.

When smoking, the surface area to volume is important to get smoke to more of the meat. You should try to “filet the filet” so you don’t have so fat of chunks on the smoker. Kingfish will typically have a thinner filet. Might be the reason you like it better.

That first jack was actually an Almaco, as someone else said. U can also tell them apart bc the almaco has a longer dorsal fin, are rounder, and are usually slightly darker overall.

Love your channel! I get it...saltwater fish aren’t so picky about the bait. Freshwater bass fishing, the bait has to look like something they normally eat. The seasons determine the bait, lure, color, top water, bottom, or flat out in the middle, give or take 10 or 40 feet. Seriously though, I wish I could grab a rattle can of white and yellow, and just catch fish. Tight lines..subbed
That is the first thing my uncle who was a outboard mechanic would recommend is get rid of the oil injection. He seen many engines destroyed because of failed injection systems.
