@@kerizmarolle9710 be accepting of your symptoms. Label everything under anxiety and then distract yourself. Thats all you can do and over time it works. It takes practice but everybody can get out of these anxiety loops. The nervous system is similar for a lot of those that suffer with anxiety. Accept, Accept, Accept and tell yourself its just anxiety because 99% of the time it is just anxiety.

@@kerizmarolle9710 exactly what ^^ they said. Take it step by step dont overwhelm yourself with nothing. Just remember you will be ok your brain just thinks something is wrong, so it just needs time to see that nothing is wrong and everything is ok. Best way to do that is by pretending everything is ok. It speeds up the process.

problem with anxiety (discorder) is: When
we see anxiety as something negative, we force a
stress reaction, that causes more anxiety. So if
anxiety itself is relying on stress hormones and we
force new stress hormones into our blood stream by
    judging a stress-induced feeling……we keep
    ourselves prisoner in this loop.
As soon as we drop the judgment, the thoughts and
feelings have no more power to cause a stress-reaction
    and anxiety.

that makes sense. i could say "im not getting better because my symptoms won't go away" but that is throwing the blame on my symptoms and not my response to my symptoms. if i feel a bodily symptom, freaking out about it is 100% my choice.

Hey friend! If you’re dealing with road anxiety, perhaps my story can shed some light on how to get out of this problem as soon as possible:
    Here’s my story:
One night, as I was driving from Miami to Orlando in the twilight hours, a fierce panic attack hit me like a tsunami wave. I couldn't move, my body shook, and I struggled to breathe. The world blurred, closing in on me. I wanted to pull over, but I kept going, determined not to let panic win. And I’ll add, that it really felt like impending doom. Just Incase you think that somehow your story is different, let me tell you, It felt like I was a dead zombie behind the wheel! (I wasn’t sure that I’m gonna make it out alive)
I’ll break it down: I felt like I couldn’t breathe, felt nauseous, as if I were dying. “BUT” I WASN’T FIGHTING THE SENSATION (THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART). I wanted to prove to myself that my body could handle driving at 80 mph for another hour and a half, even though it felt unnatural and out of my control, with shallow breathing at its maximum, making me feel like I was drowning inward. Despite this, I kept driving.
Somehow, I made it to Orlando, the city lights welcoming me like a victory parade. I had faced the darkness and won, proving to myself that I was stronger than the storm inside me, that it’s possible.
On the way back, something amazing happened. I felt calm, as if the earlier struggle had never existed. No fear, no torment, nothing!
Afterward, I realized a powerful lesson: our fears can only be conquered by facing them. (Even if it feels literally impossible) Just like someone wise once said, our brains (the amygdala) learn from experience. By confronting fear, the storm eventually fades away. (Even if it takes two or five hours) It was a huge realization that echoed within me, showing me that I had the power to overcome my own fears.
Ever since, no panic attack occurred on the road again. As a matter of fact, it helped me with other panic attacks as well.
Wishing you all a happy safe journey, and a wonderful life!

I was sent he link to watch this… I’ve had anxiety for 27 years, there’s a little too much incoherence here I’m very sorry to say, and in a way anxiety inducing in itself. Anxiety can be genetic or situational, and there is no one size fits all just like many other invisible demons. Everyone needs to do what works for them, it’s great to share what works but I’m so sorry, this was very unhelpful to another fellow anxious person.

Check out the Hope and help for your nerves book by Claire weekes. It’s hard to grasp at first, and hard to accept, but basically the root of it is that a person has to get to the mentality that the symptoms don’t really matter and go forward anyways. It’s all the worrying and avoidance that keeps it alive. Desensitize your nerves and let time pass pretty much. Have a good day!

    • @GuadalupeGomez-ms6uo
      @GuadalupeGomez-ms6uo Před 8 měsíci

I think doctors know that the solution is to do nothing and let it pass. But because doctors are also not psychologists , they try to fix the physical stuff they know about and not the mental. Also , you need to remember that you have to do the work, not the doctor. They can give you medication, but that won’t do anything if you don’t learn how to react to the anxiety.
