  • What do we mean when we say our wheels are Custom Drilled?
    Our Blank/Custom drilled wheels are manufactured with no PCD or ET/Offset, this enables us to bring one specification in stock that we can drilled in-house to fit a wide range of vehicles.
    Most of our wheels can be custom drilled from 5x98 up to 5x130 with an offset range ET15 - 45. This means we can make our wheels, such as our RF101, fit vehicles such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Vauxhall, Nissan, Porsche & much, much more!
    Our custom drilled wheels are the same price as our Pre-Drilled wheels so don't be put off when we say 'Custom Drilled', this service is free of charge when you buy a set of our Alloy Wheels.

    Your work is far superior in precision than any others ive seen. What would you charge per wheel to convert 5x120 to 4x100 on a set of bmw style 5s??

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před 2 lety

      You will be best contacting our sales team at enquiries@tuxauto.com regarding this as they will need to see images of the wheel to see if this can be done. I would suggest looking at getting a set of PCD adapters instead because drilling a 4 stud on a 5 stud wheel may not be possible.

    Impressive! The only thing that worries me is, the wheels are priorly painted, when you custom drill them, you damage the paint, pretty sure if someone tries to power wash the wheels, the paint will just lift.

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před rokem

      We regularly maintain our CNC machine to ensure our drill bits are sharp to prevent this from occurring as a blunt bit could cause the paint to lift like you mention. But in the rare instance that this occurs we give a 1 year warranty with all of our wheels so if the paint starts to lift around the PCD holes, this would be covered under warranty. Hope this helps! 🙌

    does enlarging bolt holes affect the structural strength of the wheel? I bought a set of JR21 wheels for my car and the bolt holes need to be enlarged a bit to fit the car..should I be worried about the strength of the wheel afterwards?

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před rokem

      You will need to ask the manufacturer of the wheel that question. As that isn't one of our designs we don't know what parameters are safe for the design so we can't advise you on this. Sorry we cannot help.

    Can i change bolt pattern on 5x115 rim to 5x127 bolt pattern

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před 10 měsíci

      Depending on the design of the wheel, you could multi-drill the wheel but not many designs have space or enough metal for this to be an option. You will be better looking to see if PCD adaptors are an option for you. These are essentially spacers but they allow you to bolt from one PCD to another.

    You guys have the skill of a brain surgeon, absolutely amazing.
    But i do have a question.
    I am looking at purchasing a set of alloy wheels for my car.
    They are Adventus AVS2 and they offer several different bolt patterns, but not 5x115.
    I contacted the wheel company and they said no problem on the size 20x8.5 they have my wheel in stock ,but they are blank, so they will have to custom drill them..
    So why are there wheels already drilled, but the 5x115 are left blank?.
    Any feed back on this would be helpful.........Thank you.❤

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před rokem +1

      Hi, This is due to demand, 5x115 isn't a very popular PCD so most brands, such as our selves, don't stock pre-drilled 5x115 PCD wheels as there isn't enough demand for this PCD. We stock 5x112 & 5x120 for most of our wheels and then any other PCD will be custom drilled from a blank wheel. Hope this helps!

    An advice on how to get 5x112 on a 5x114.3? Any suggestions, is it even possible?

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před rokem

      Hi, If your vehicle uses bolts you can use Variable Bolt which allow for the 2mm difference. If your vehicle uses nuts you can either use PCD adapters or get the PCD re-pitched which involves opening the bolt holes up by 1mm either side meaning the wheels will then fit a 5x112 & 5x114.3 PCD. Hope this helps!

      @RivieraWheels  Před 6 měsíci

      @@theurbanartist775 Wobble Bolts (or Variable Bolts) will work up to 2mm so a 5x112 car can use a 5x114.5 wheel or vice versa. Hope this helps!

    • @RivieraWheels
      @RivieraWheels  Před rokem

      if your vehicle uses bolts then you can use Vari-bolts (AKA wobble bolts) but if your vehicle uses Nuts then your only other option is to bore the PCD to a 5x114.3 which means opening the bolt hole up by 1mm either side, hope this helps!

      @@RivieraWheels I have to bore them out. I’m getting them machined but I’m curious how the nuts will seat ? Because they’re pretty much boring out the seat for the nut and it won’t have much tension on the wheel when torquing down the nuts.

    • @aksdan7783
      @aksdan7783 Před rokem

      @@RivieraWheels I’m guessing they bore out a new seat and I use the original lug nuts that came with stock wheels ? Because they are too large to fit now so if I bored the holes out they might fit on the new surface
