Do you find the machine too loud? Does it give you a high quality grind?

Hi, The professional one grinds very fast so the grain is not hot. Yes its loud because of the powerful motor and the grains getting crushed between the stones. I use spelt and rye only in this mill and if you mean smooth as an all purpose flour, then its not that smooth, but as whole wheat flour it does its job. I liked the Lino 200 too, but stupidly gave it away. I guess Lino will serve families better.
