I think the sphere mode should be an option. I liked the Minecraft charm of the blocky variant
it is an option. you can disable sphere mode
Yeah, there's a setting for it in game, you can switch between cubes and spheres any time, even mid-game.
@@SethBling it would be funny if the timer hits half the time of the round it would change to cubes or next game after someone scores it would change to cubes and another score it would be again spheres
I should check out the world, but - can you switch between sphere/block players and sphere/block ball independently? I think that'd be fun, but would require more physics work ig

this is insane compared to the last version this is just so much more full with the score text the save text to spheres and the sounds it really feels complete

With the new resource packs present in versions 1.17+ It should be possible to make perfect spheres with shaders.

theres just one thing thats needed. you should make it so player movement adds angular momentum on ground and when airborne. that way you can have marble blast physics

You should add curve shoots! I have no idea how hard that is but I assume you would check where they hit it relative to the center and make it move left or right in the air based on how close to the edge the hit was.

Sometimes the things that are easiest to code (sphere collisions, feedback text based on in-game events, etc.) are also the things that improve the game most!

This is kind of something that I wanna make in Minecraft.
Maybe make an option when you start the map if you want to do sphere or cube mode.
i imagine sphere mode uses much faster physic calculations, leaving room for more extra features without lagging the game :D
