      I think this is the best way to deescalate any anger/potential guns/possible fight breakouts. You act chill and say like hey you know~ blahblah~ so there's no tension. If you go in all Tough Cop, it never ends well and you might end up having to physically restrain people and everyone gets hurt. You just never know how people will react to an arrest warrant. I know it's sick to watch knowing what they did etc, but the cop is trying to make this go as smoothly as possible. You can tell the dad was already agitated from the start.

Sure, you can throw any knife, but it'll just bounce off the target; the most serious injury would be a cut or a nick. You also shouldn’t blame someone for somebody else’s actions.. That’s like blaming someone who has an awful parent, assuming their also like that .. I think if anyone’s to blame it’s her lawyer, kept asking them to get the code , then after they have it, THEN says”ok don’t go in it” shoulda said to bring the laptop to his office immediately before trying to get into it.. if their lawyer is telling them things, then of course they didn’t think they did anything illegal , i also.think it’s a tactic by the state to make this case have been more negative attention , im sure the charges will be dropped after Courtney’s trial

      you are so wrong its not even funny, you are a product of your mother and father. Any good child knows this and any proud parent, it's when people are being bad we don't see it. I didn't see this conversation with the lawyer. But even with this made up as far as I know fact, if a lawyer told me to break the law it's not on the lawyer it's on me. Garbage daughter left him dying with she talked to that horrible mother that raised a sex worker coming from wealth already. @brandy_lish

    • @TaraVon
      @TaraVon Před měsícem

      Not necessarily true. Sometimes bad children can come from some truly great parents. And sometimes some great children can be the product of some horribly abusive parents. I’ve seen it go both ways. Granted, it’s definitely a smaller percentage because behavior is usually a learned trait by our environments and upbringing. However, trauma and undiagnosed mental health disorders are usually the leading cause of alcohol and drug addictions. Which can lead to violent tendencies and dangerous behaviors.
      As for the parents, I do feel empathy for them. Seeing as their lawyer was telling them to get the code for the laptop. It very possibly could’ve been a shared computer. Seems Courtney was the main breadwinner in this relationship and funded their lifestyle. I don’t doubt for a second that she probably purchased it and that they both used it. Maybe Christian used it more than her. Regardless, she knew the passcode so has definitely accessed it before. And she very well could’ve forgotten the password to it seeing as she was clearly under the influence a lot during that time period. The problem here is that Miami Dade LE dropped the ball in this homicide investigation. They should’ve collected any and all evidence that day on the scene. Not months later. Did they arrest and charge the lawyer who requested that the Clenney’s collect the laptop and find out the passcode? I don’t think so. 🤔
      (Also, let me add. As parents who love their children, it’s instinct to want to protect them at all costs. I can’t blame the parents for that. It seems they honestly didn’t know they were breaking any laws considering their lawyer was the one asking for the laptop. It’s possible they believe Courtney was being abused in this relationship and not just the abuser. Hence, their obvious disdain for the victim.)
      This trial should be an interesting one! I’m curious to see all the evidence brought forth by both sides. As I’ve learned recently following the Karen Read case, the prosecution always has the upper hand when it comes to providing the narrative in the media. Usually we don’t hear anything from the defense until opening statements. I wonder who has released/leaked all these videos, texts, letters, etc. to the media/public before the trial has even started?

    Long comment, I'm sorry. Her parents just make me super angry...
    Her parents deserve to be in jail. They think they could get away with it because they think they are better than everyone else. You can definitely see where their daughter gets it from 🤦‍♀️🤬 so stuck up and thinks they're above everyone else. I grew up in a family who had millions of dollars... I am so thankful the money never got to my mom's head. You'd never know that she married into a well known family (in our area) worth millions. I grew up in a house worth over $1.75 million. My mom also had a few million of her own since a hospital killed her father when she was 16 and her family sued and won. But yeah. Both my Mom and my ex step dad's family donated A LOT of their money and they did it anonymously. I wish other people didn't let money and notoriety get to their heads. The World would be a much better place. My Mom and Step Dad got divorced after 22 years of marriage. She didn't ask for a penny and didn't get anything. She even let me step dad have the house they used HER MONEY to build. Money is just that... money. My Husband and I don't have money. We live paycheck to paycheck. My Mom got sick (she had 3 strokes 9ish years ago at the age 45) and was on her death bed, so ALL of her money has gone to medical bills. Thankfully she survived. She had to relearn everything...how to feed herself, walk, talk, etc... that money saved her. She is no different now than she was when she was "rich". Still the same, happy, down to Earth, caring & giving woman she always has been.

    Oh yeah Clenney, household kitchen knives are weighted specifically so they cannot be thrown blade first, they are not throwing knives, and every idiot that uses that "oh I just threw it and the blade just went in, it was totally accidental" excuse as their defense, well put it this way, the cops know the score, the judge, prosecutors and everyone on that jury will see that demonstrated in court how the weighted handle makes kitchen knives FALL TO THE FLOOR, OR NOT BLADE FORWARD if thrown theyd hit flat never pointing‼️🙄🙄🙄

    I don’t have a “poop story“, but a friend of ours was dating a girl who was very jealous. Whenever he was going out parting without her, she would make pudding or pudding pie and put Ex-Lax in it! 😳🥵 That would ensure he would come home early. She admitted this years later. 😡

    I got to admit when I first saw this heinous crime I thought of AH and JD and how if he had changed his will and had her in it. It would have been a self defence trial and not a defamation trial. I think her acting would have still been soooo bad!!!
    Anyhoo this family sucks. And if you all saw the clip of the couple in the lift wow she was a nasty hellcat. Can’t wait for that trial it’s up there with Jodie Arias and Shayna Hubers. All of their trolleys.!!!!!

    @Corgisaan 39:15 - about finger printing not working for you; I've got to ask ??? Do you use a lot of hand lotion?
    Ppl who do 'overplump' their skin w moisture. Like sitting in the tub, Like sitting in the tub, swollen, wet fingertips would make fingerprinting nearly impossible.
    If those ppl go about a week w/o lotion (😱I KNOW!!! the horror🤪) their fingertips will de-prune & they'll be able to be printed.

    Something is a little insensitive about the title of this video. I don't know the case, but PISSED and Hacking juxtaposed against Murder as if they are equal, something like that, is kind of jarring.

    • @hauntedshadowslegacy2826
      @hauntedshadowslegacy2826 Před měsícem +3

      They're not meant to be compared as equal. Think of it more like salt in a wound. Is the salt alone capable of causing that level of pain? No, it needs the wound to be there first. But once it's there, the salt makes it so much worse. These loser parents are accused of tampering with evidence (the salt) that is directly relevant to their daughter's murder trial (the wound). If the daughter didn't have a brutally-stabbed-to-death boyfriend, her parents breaking into the boyfriend's laptop would be an offensive inconvenience at most. Now, with the murder, it's an attempt to prevent the boyfriend from resting in peace.

    I think it's crazy to go after grown adults PARENTS! Of course the dad is going to stand up for his daughter, I'd think he was a shtbag if he didn't. Of course, it could be that they spoiled her, or she went completely off the rails. We don't know 1. If she's guilty, or at fault 2. What kind of person she is, how she was raised, & how close she was to her parents.
    I can say this, considering you're innocent until proven, if her father was some dirt bag that wasn't around, people would be judging him for being a deadbeat pos. But bc he's on his daughters side, standing up for her, well, people are now calling him a pos, how DARE he stand up for his daughter 🙄
    I used to be way more involved in the true crime community, but it's just so fxn TOXIC these days, I can barely read 3 comments or watch most YTere cover true crime anymore bc of the ridiculousness, rumors, and opinions stated as facts with absolutely nothing to back it up other than someone or something "just feels off" 🙄 it's crazy.

    • @goddammitalana
      @goddammitalana Před měsícem

      It's not that he was "standing up for her" is that they accessed a locked device that belongs to the MURDER VICTIM likely to check for/ delete evidence since it's been proven the victim recorded alot of their altercations that got physical/ where Courtney went crazy

    • @brandy_lish

      the ONLY comment on this video i completely agree with!! I’m so tired of the TC Community as well ,I love it I’ve loved true crime since I was like 12 years old and had to read books from borders to get my fix, but these videos an comments are soo Biased and it’s all guilty, guilty. Guilty without even a trial or anything yet and people just stay whatever, and it suddenly becomes fact even out there not facts! And I’ve been saying I feel for the parents because obviously they didn’t know they were doing anything wrong. They were going by their lawyers, or I’m sorry their daughter’s lawyer his direction and telling him to find and figure out the code, and then saying after the fact, oh don’t look at it probably after they already looked at it not realizing and then they get arrested I mean come on! it’s obviously the prosecution doing that to get even more bad publicity for Courtney’s case.
