The first edition of the Pooleys Flight Guide was published in 1962.
A gale becomes a gale at a wind speed of 34 kt.
Pooleys' new online learning platform is called the Pooleys Aviation Academy.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, provided the inspiration for the Pooleys Dawn to Dusk competition.

Flight guide 1962 (Europe), gale force starts at 34 kts, and Prince Philip for the Dawn to Dusk. Very sad about Vans, I was one who had paid deposits for a kit.
… “linen” because the “Centennial” was supposed to remind people of the Original Wright Flyer that was revolutionary and covered with undoped fabric. There were 100 Centennial Editions built in 2003 for the 100th Anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight at Kittyhawk, North Carolina in 1903. It was actually my favorite esthetic of all the SR22s. Sometime you should show everyone a picture of the Wright Flyer on the tail.
And no it was not signed by Dale and I (that was the “Signiture Edition” circa 2006).
Keep up the great work! Alan Klapmeier
Great to hear from you - hope all's good. Will try to find a Centennial for a photo shoot, and will include the tail art! Ian
