I think my favorite one is "I let you go, and you will die.." to which Rhaast responds: "...and you will lose." It is so well voice acted and really epitomizes the internal conflict of the character.
Honestly I think that Rhaast won't manage to take Kayn's body. Logically he has better chance, but after all they are created fictional characters and their fates are in Riot's hands. Kayn will become shadow assassin or no one will win because we already have Aatrox, just another like him won't be as interesting as someone who has destroyed a darkin. At least I think so.
The player literally decides who wins and who loses every match. I doubt there will ever be a definitive lore account, because it’s both and none at the same time.
I know I'm asking for too much, but it would be so fun for the lore if they could switch back and forth between Kayn and Rhaast as the story goes on for these two, while both of them are still alive.
It would have been a really cool idea if he switched between darkin and shadow assassin every time he ulted, with his first form being based on who was ulted
