Well Aatrox was one of the first Ascended trapped in weapon so this process could go not exactely right for him. Thats why he's in eternal agony while Rhaast have fun. Not very fair if you ask me xD On the other hand Aatrox instantly dominated every mortal who touched his sword while Rhaast have problem with Kayn :P
