What It Feels Like To Come Back Home | Exchange Student USA

today I am doing a video that was requested by a viewer telling you all about what it was like to come home from my exchange year in the USA. After leaving the United States and coming back to Germany, there was a lot going on inside of me. I will tell you all about what tp expect when returning from your study abroad. I hope you enjoy.

Thankyou for this video!! In 18 days I’m going back to the Netherlands after being in Canada and I have soo many mixed feelings. I can’t wait to see my family and friends again and to experience the Dutch culture and food but I’m also so scared that all the people I love have moved on with their lives without me.

hey there! love the video :) can i ask you when you came back, did u repeat the grade that u missed in the us or did you skip it and move on to the next grade with the rest of people in ur age group? was it your choice or did your school choose it? Have a good day/night :))

Hi! Thank you for this great question, first of all. I decided to skip the grade because my school offered me the choice and I wanted to keep learning with my friends. I had to make up some of what I missed but I was a good student so it wasn't much of an issue. Depends on what type of learner you are and which grade you do your exchange

Can you do your exchange year in 11th grade and do senior year in the US because I know some people who did that. And if so can you just come back and skip that grade because then I would’ve skipped 2 grades in total
