You clicked to far... the video he dangles the carrot of in the beginning is at 13:44.
You're welcome
When he said "dont let your anger be destructive", tbh thats the advice i needed this week..
Me too, I wanted to punch my fridge when I found out there was no milk for my cereal, so I just put some damn water in that shit😂
Let your anger be constructive
@@aldocort3418 bro you a psychopath for that, like water in cereal???
Chess will teach you that. I know I’m not the only one to throw a game and then play angrily to lose like 5 more.
Sometimes all we need in life is to be reminded from the outside about the thing we already know
And he sacrificed... The save file!

I feel that pain of lost recordings... It's frustrating as heck. Almost as frustrating as Magnus must have felt...
Woah, hi there
hi lex
Didn't know you play chess
Bro does NOT play chess 💀🙏🏻
Just when we thought that levy's addiction to magnus was over it returned
can't blame him since a lot of viewers including me are also addicted to watching him reviewing magnus games as well
Wow imagine being addicted to watching the world champion
Regarding the corrupted video file, I'd recommend recording in mkv format, which has the neat property where if the end of it is corrupted, the rest of the video file is still left intact. You can then convert it back to mp4 later if you really need to (OBS has a built-in way to do this with File > Remux). This sort of format has already saved me from a few corrupted recordings, including one time when my computer crashed in the middle of a recording. It also lets you do wacky things like watch back the video you are currently recording.
Levy needs to see this!
If people complain about you getting too animated they need to watch this video. This has such a feel of commentary in major American sports. The excitement, the story lines, the heroes and villains, and you bring it all together in a very entertaining way! People like you make things like chess and esports viable and on par with other major sports.
I'm only a 600 Elo, but high level chess like this is endlessly fascinating to me, I can't explain it.
Ivanchuck is such a joy to watch when he's on his game. I still remember an interview where he starts excitedly rambling about a side-line he calculated in his head that never even happened during the game. Like a kid who's excitedly telling about something they are passionate about.
Todays stare was a bit short but I could really see the personality and thoughts behind it.

there was no reason to share that thought. we all have weird thoughts, but you went above and beyond when you shared this horrific construct your mind decided to create. i hope this is a turning point in your life. one where you realise "hey, maybe i shouldnt bestow that kind of vile garbage upon innocent people". i hope for your own sake and for everyone around you, that you grow from this experience.

As a Ukrainian I am really happy for Vasyl Ivanchuk. Yes, he got a bit lucky at the end, but still he did really good job fighting Magnus. Such a wild game.

I laughed so hard when you said that you had already recorded this video jajaja thank you for the great content!
Use the blue squares and arrows more often please. They are the most aesthetic
I came looking for footage of Magnus physically throwing a piece but stayed for the great analysis.
I love Chucky so much, he takes such a pure and child-like delight in chess.
Today’s stare is full of deep happiness and a rather excellent gratification 😂

title and thumbnail: OMG MAGNUS THREW A GAME
the video: Magnus played 1 a single dingle bad move.
This sort of commentary with the 'what if' moves thrown in is most informative. It's like a lesson from a chess master. Thanks. (You should drink ice coffee in the afternoon more often.)
Love your Videos Levy! Keep up the great work : D

Big fan of the recent 2 videos (This and GTE) In my opinion much higher quality content than reviewing low elo sub battles or chatGPT chess. Great video as always!
Very informative, absolutely agree👍🏾

Great to see Gotham reviewing his viewer’s games and giving them shoutouts!

Only real ones know that this video was originally called “Magnus threw the game”
Edit: he’s changed it back
Ivanchuk is one of the rare guys that can consistently outplay Magnus strategically. Always love matches between these 2. It's a shame we never had this matchup in the WCC
"if i give up my queen for a rook and a piece i'm probably winning but do i really need to"
that's the question that pops into your mind before you blunder by not giving up the queen. What a relatable mistake.
I started watching chess because of you and Agadmator. Great content and company, during my studies from masters degree. You are definitely the most entertaining chess streamer, please keep it up, you are awesome!! I want more GTE!!
I have a ton of respect for the way Magnus reacted. I would seriously have flipped the table. Good for him shaking hands and stepping away with his dignity intact.
The the dopamine rush ivantsjuk got from that was probably insane
Epic game ! Your right Levy. GG ! When I played otb blitz sometimes when I blundered I just act like its part of the plan and have gotten away with some terrible moves. Never admit your mistake in otb blitz. Doesn't always work but in otb blitz it definitely has more of an effect. Especially when you play the move with real decisiveness. Thanks!
Todays stare was short but effective. The head movement and the way he moves slightly back and how he goes from silent to loud and starts explaining 10;/10

"have you ever blundered a mate in 1?"
Yup. Twice. In the same game....

On the file save thing. You are recording mkv files right? Just making sure as obs recording mp4 files means if something goes wrong you lose everything
Bro you already made this game into a video as part of some unexpected blunders by top GMs.
11:20 I didn’t really expect a hockey reference on this channel but I have to say I do enjoy it
*ChatGPT enters*
Levi: Once you get better at chess, you can kind of break the rules
ChatGPT: oh that makes sense
*ChatGPT leaves*
Levi: not like cheat. You can't en passant your opponents pieces or whatever
THE HAIRLINE THING CAUGHT ME OF GAURD 😂😂😂😂
Magnus just told "harass my king daddy with mate in one"
Yeah I picked this up from Hikaru's video.
Magnus literally said "yeet da game!"
He was that close ? HE WAS THAT CLOSE TO TAKING BACK THE ADVANTAGE FROM IVANCHUK ?
Need more behind the scene video editing takes.
Either blundering pieces or checkmate it happens to all even the best of us
I'm enjoying that in his recent videos, he is pausing to speak directly to his followers who watch the videos as a form of entertainment and aren't great at chess. It's like he has to keep rationalizing it himself.
a cool video idea may be about when you should break chess principles

A huge reason for norway covering all the Chess stuff, i think, is because of
Magnus. NRK, the official channel of norway covers all championships and for many its essentially a tradition to the Watch rapid and blitz Championship during christmas
Chuky always makes me chuckle😃
When Vasyl Ivanchuk cought
11:20 why rook F8 and not Qd5 for the free pawn and regaining control over center?
It would also put pressure on the knight, reinforcing the d6 pawn and allowing the F7 or E7 pawns to move forward, applying more pressure to the white queen or knight. (slightly limiting movement and undeveloping the black queen)
Also, ngl, I was halfway hoping he would pick up his King piece and throw it, as in, actually YEET it out of frustration.
Can we just appreciate how little effort he puts into his thumbnails. He just add mad and an arrow. That is a lot of effort.
