Yehovah taught me the importance of true forgiveness when I was a child and it made me fall in love with Elohim because I understood His greatness of mercy and compassion for all of us

Thank you. Jews are often slandered by Christian's for being unforgiving or lacking a concept of grace. But in fact Jews have always believed in repentance and forgiveness and we never thought the sacrifices alone atoned for sin apart from confession and contrition.

Thank you for this. My dad will not forgive me for something minor that I did. I apologized and apologized, but he won’t forgive. Not only is it painful for me to have to carry on knowing that he won’t forgive me, but knowing that he is now harboring a grudge is so upsetting. I am not malicious, and love my dad, so this is very hard.

Its understandable why this is hard for you, but don't let it be. You've done the right thing, you apologized to your dad, but god wants you and everyone to seek forgiveness, including forgiveness of yourself. So knowing that you've done the right thing by apologizing, let yourself be free by forgiving your dad AND yourself, if anyone is in the wrong now, its your dad, because god would want you both to find peace and he has not forgiven, but dont dwell in this, you did your part, now go forward in life, or else you might fall into resentment. If your dad persists, always remind yourself, YOU did the right thing to bring peace, dont fall into the devils trap of doubt. I hope your relationship is restored!🙏

There's only one reason why there is always wars and conflict, or people doing wrong to others. Its not because, "they did this or that", its because both people dont forgive each other and let it stay where it belongs, in the past. I hope one day we can all live without fear of what might happen, or fear of what has happened.

I believe god judges everyone by their present intentions and actions but forgives when you come to him and confess. I wish more christians and jews could bond together, we both believe the messiah will come, cant we just rejoice together knowing this, i honestly can't see why god wouldn't accept us both.

How do Jews obtain forgiveness if the Law says that without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. What blood do Jews rely on since the sacrificial system has been done away with? Also, when did the sacrificial system come to end?

Matthew Santa Cruz Jesus is my Lord, whom died for my sins on the cross, resurrected by the Father on the third day. Jesus is the atonement for our sins. You must accept Him and do what He says, obey His commandments.

You are mistaken with your repetitive missionary talk. Sacrifices at the temple were not the core the forgiveness.
If you do wrong on your spouse and and the next day you just bring her flowers, she’s gonna throw them back in your face. You have to do more. You must repent and make efforts to not repeat your mistakes.
Same with the temple sacrifice. You couldn’t “buy” your forgiveness with a sacrifice (like Christians buy their forgiveness by faith alone). You had to do more.
2nd: the sacrifice was for unintentional sins.
      Please read Leviticus 4
