Strange title, the modern day equivalent woould be some lower division players who just kicked lumps out of the other team. If Nobby and his ilk had played today it'd be a straight red for his first "tackle". The plain truth is that Nobby was one of those if-it-moves-kick-it types, didn't know one end of the ball from the other ....but he was OUR clogger so a national hero.
