Frank Coe killed his son in law, Irvine Lesnet, for hitting his daughter Sydney Coe and giving her a black eye. Frank Coe was acquitted of the charges as told by Lincoln historian, Jim Garcia.

Frank Coe would have been only 28 in 1879. Would a daughter of his have been old enough to marry? You sure you have the right date? May have happened some time later, I bet.
