CNC Router Tool Measurement Discussion of the Fixed Holder Technique

A discussion of the most popular way to measure tool heights using a maintained tool offset library with Acorn CNC12 AND using fixed tool holders (not collets) on an ATC style spindle. (meaning you can remove and replace the tool holder and tool in the spindle without changing its length) . This method works with or without an ATC.
