CNC12 installation Pitfall. If you run the CNC12 v5.08 installer without having the CNC control board powered up and connected to the CNC PC ethernet port you will get a selection to set a Wifi adapter if one is found on the CNC PC as the CNC controller ethernet adapter. Im an engineering masters student and I inherited the an Acorn CNC from a previous project. I ensured that the board was properly installed and it ran previously but Im having an issue where neither the blue heartbeat light (right) nor the blue power light (left) on the beaglebone will turn on as shown on the video. Any idea how to fix this issue?
You definitely got me up and running! Thank you! My next question is how to save this because when I power off I lose communication with cnc12 and have to uninstall and re - install ...smh

Hello, Before buying ACORN.CNC can you tell me if the interface is multilanguage? in French for example?
Daniel, Setting parameter 9 = 2 will set French language in CNC12.

It turned out to be a coupler with a screw that backed out between the stepper and the ballscrew jamming and throwing the code. Not sure why the correlation but that was the fix.

Hi Marty. The Centroid software and the Acorn board are awesome. I fully intend to make the switch from Mach3 and Mach4 over to Centroid. Question: When you activate the keyboard controls, does the pop-up window obstruct the use of any screen functions covered by the window?
