What you have articulated about orthodoxy is highly important. Here in Türkiye we are under huge pressure to adopt "orthodox" policy by increasing interest rates and allowing the international "market" to govern the value of the lira. We will see the terrible social cost of these policies on the middle and working classes. This is the cost of being overly exposed to a dollar system that is controlled by financial predators.

I just found out that the Turkish central bank has doubled interest rates to 15 percent. It is a terrible news. Growth will stall now causing widespread unemployment and soon Turkish people will find themselves struggling much more to make ends meet because of higher rent prices and higher mortgages. Industrial activity will come to screeching halt. Most of all going against Allah's clear guidance will result in loss of Allah's blessings. Inflation is a worldwide problem now and none of the countries which raised interest rates have benefitted from this policy. I have always been wary of the state bank governors and finance ministers imported from abroad. They are instruments of ruthless capitalist ideology. I hope that you sir will keep informing Muslims about the dangers of western ideology adulterating Muslim minds.
Brother Almir as you know people are usually impatient. They opt for immediate gains instead of opting for long-term gains. At the moment Turkish government is under intense pressure to rein in inflation and western institutions who benefit from rising interest rates will do everything to fail a system which abolishes Riba. Only a person who understands whole picture will understand why Islam considers Riba as evil and exploitative. I hope Muslims will understand this fact and remain steadfast.
