  • How to protect your child from kidnapping? We’ve got 14 kidnappers’ tricks that kidnappers use when interacting with children. Be careful and show this video to your little ones!
Every year thousands of kids get abducted all over the world. The kidnappers have all the skills of a good psychologist. They know how to win the kids’ hearts to manipulate their minds perfectly.
One of the most common tricks all kidnappers use is asking kids for help. If you feel like things have gone too wild and the hysterics is more than a regular grumpy attack, it won’t hurt to check on them. If you spot a suspicious adult watching kids go up and down the slides or building sand castles - let them know that you know. Some abductors will let the kid play a “demo” game to invite them into the car later to continue.
After winning the child’s trust, the villain can say they have to go to the hospital immediately, because “mom is in trouble.” If you ever overhear that kind of conversation between a kid and an adult, take action.Molesters can invite kids to save local heroes: popular celebrities, coaches or school teachers. They don’t even have to invent a fake name for themselves, just say they were sent by that person everyone knows and loves.
A driver who is asking a child for directions and invites him or her to get into that car to guide them is 99% a child abductor. When you get lost while driving, you are more likely to ask a policeman or other adults for help, right?
The easiest way to win someone’s trust is to pretend to be someone everyone trusts already. A policeman, for example. However, a real police officer will try to find the child’s parents and not just take the little one away. If you confront the obviously fake policeman and he refuses to show his ID, try to take a picture of him.

    SUMMARY
-One of the most common tricks all kidnappers use is asking kids for help. If you ever hear an adult begging for help at a playground, it is a reason to be alarmed.
-If you feel like things have gone too wild and the hysterics is more than a regular grumpy attack, it won’t hurt to check on them. Ask the kid and the accompanying adult if everything is alright, and how they all are related.
-If you spot a suspicious adult watching kids go up and down the slides or building sand castles - let them know that you know. Take a picture of that stranger.
-Kids are very kind and trustful. When offered candy, toys or cool gadgets like smartphones and tablets, they will follow the kind stranger anywhere.
-7% of abductors use puppies to win the kid’s attention and trust.
-An abductor can do some serious research on the prospective victim and pretend they’re someone they know well.
-Molesters can invite kids to save local heroes: popular celebrities, coaches or school teachers.
-Sometimes molesters use other kids to win the child’s trust.
-A driver who is asking a child for directions and invites him or her to get into that car to guide them is 99% a child abductor.
-There were known cases in criminal practice when children were taken away on motorcycles after they were offered a fun ride.
-Kidnappers approach kids complimenting their looks and offering easy fame and success.
-If you confront the obviously fake policeman and he refuses to show his ID, try to take a picture of him.
-If you hear a child call an adult accompanying him or her "Sir" or "Madam," it is a warning sign, as well.
-If you see a well-dressed child being taken somewhere by a strangely-looking adult dressed carelessly or even somewhat like a homeless person, do not ignore it.

I remember as a kid I was told multiple times to never go with strangers or people who gave me candy for free, so when I got lost once in the beach and a guy came to me, I was both scared and desperate for help .
Instead of taking my hand and dragging me away, he told me "Are you lost? Don't worry, follow me, we'll get help", and I followed him. He took me with the beach staff, told me everything would be okay, said his goodbyes and left. I got lost because my parents got distracted for a second. So parents out there, stop looking at the cellphone all day long and always keep an eye on your kids.
And to that man, wherever he is, thanks for saving me that day.

Dimm Nogal you made it sound like once your parents looked at their phones you just decided to go so far away from where you were supposed to be that you forgot where you were at.
there is fault on both sides.

    • @ZefDavenport
      @ZefDavenport Před 6 lety +22

*EyeLeSs TigER* : That would be interesting if cellphones existed when I was a kid. Back then, cellphones didn't exist, only normal phones, so my parents didn't exactly have a distraction on them. Still, I put the cellphone example because is way too common these days. Also, I was 6; when you're 6 you don't have enough experience to realize that maybe you can get lost. Of course I learned after that. Besides, cellphone or not, parents should be aware of where their kids are, especially in a crowded area. You can't blame a kid for getting lost if that kid is too young to understand the concept of truly getting lost.

She told me all about it at the time and I didn't know it was sketchy until she was taken away for a few minutes then a helpful lady saw that a man was pulling a 13 year old girl who was screaming and she called the stepped up to help her out by saying ,THERE YOU ARE MY BEAUTIFUL NIECE!!, and the man left her there with the lady ❤ she is one of the reasons I never lose hope in humanity!

Oh, I'm lost and this guy who isn't security is offering to help me find my parents? I don't care that I don't know where they are, run. The only way I actually let someone go anywhere near me was literally because they looked about a thousand years old and could barely walk on their own. I had enough when I was really little to be incredibly paranoid around anything that wasn't familiar.

Tips if you are being kidnapped that my dad taught me
    1. If they try to grab your wrist, pull back and put your hands up at about the same hight as your neck, palms facing them and slapping their hand if they try to grab you. Say kinda loudly, "stop, I don't know you, you aren't my parent, go away I don't know you," and the like, progressively getting louder. Other people could hear early on, and jump in and try to help, they are less likely if you just scream. Do the same if they grab your wrist and try to pull away.
    2. If they grab you, loudly tell a specific person, even if you know nothing about them, to call the police or that you are being kidnapped, or the kidnapper isn't your parent. "Hey you, in the (outfit), call 911 (assuming you live in the US), this is not my mom/dad" this means they won't think someone else will call 911, since if you tell someone that they specifically have to do something, they are more likely to do something then if you tell a group, "someone please call 911" don't waste time saying please, you shouldn't spent the time to be polite, and you aren't asking them to call the police, you are telling them the have to call the police, so the don't feel like it is an option.
    3. If no one is around, scream not "ahhh" or "help" but something like "CALL 911, I'M BEING KIDNAPPED!" or "IF YOU HEAR THIS CALL 911!" so anyone who hears knows for sure something is wrong. It means it is like you are telling them specifically that they have to call the police.
    4. If you have to defend yourself, hit along the center of the body (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, neck, stomach, groin), and hit as hard as you can. If they hold you close to their body, do something like bring a knee to their groin, put your fingers like claws and go in front of their face, and then rake down, simultaneously bringing you knee down and stomping on their foot. If they grab you with their hands, try to put your fingers in their eyes. They will either let go to keep your hands out of their face, or let go because you just poked their eye as hard as you can. Then turn and run for your life, and run to the nicest looking person, and say something like, "a guy just tried to kidnap me, call 911".
    5. Try to get somewhere with a bunch of people, since if more people see something, the kidnapper is more likely to back off.

One day I was at the park playing with my sister and this guy was watching us. When my sister went to the swings I stayed at the slides. I just happened to see the guy talk to my sister and them laughing. I notice the guy is pointing at a van. I quickly ran as fast as possible to them telling my sister that it was time to leave and mom said so. The guy started talking to me so I said “sorry but we have to leave our mom said” I noticed when I said “our mom said” he looked shocked and said I won’t keep her waiting and walked off scared. My sister asked why we were leaving we were there for like 2 min (she didn’t say that all but that’s a way to say it) I said he was trying to take her and hurt or do bad things to her.she looked scared. So once when I was a really little kid, I used to walk home in 2nd grade, I was about 6-7 years old. My parents had always talked to me about children abductors here and there, but I didn’t really care because I never thought it would happen to me. But I lived about 10-15 minute walk home from my school. I was walking home from school, and this nice looking car pulled over, he told me he was my grandpa’s friend, he looked about 60-65 years old, (as I remember) So, I explained that I don’t have a grandpa ( I lost him when I was born ) and the child abductor said “I meant your grandma's” I usually walked home with my brother who is a year and a half older than me but he was sick. He explained calmly that he had talked to my brother recently. I said “Okay..” I took off running, to my surprise he started following me, I was sorta close to my house, about a 5 more minute walk. He finally pulled over and stepped out of the car. That’s when I pulled off my bookbag and shoes and took off sprinting. My dad was waiting for my by the gate. And the abductor was behind me when my father let me in the gate. My father confronted him.
Always remember that the world is not safe, this video is giving off useful tips.

I saw another Vid like this way back
    And Way back
A guy had a little boy's hand the boy was screaming and crying and trying to pull out the grip as I was watching from a far with my mom, I tugged on her shirt and and pointed at them, I knew something wasn't right....i said to my mom "that is not the boy's dad. "
And my mom knew something was up too.
We walked over and my mother asked him who he was to the boy, he tried to say he was his dad and I just said very loud "LIAR" my mother quickly snatched the boy from him and boy had said "I don't know Him! I don't know him!" I was old enough to understand how to take a picture so I grabbed my mother's phone and took a picture of the guy the guy ran away and we took the boy too look for his parents we couldn't find them so we took him to the police station and showed the picture to them
Apparently the guy had been known for taking children.
    Selling drugs.
    And raping young woman.
And was trying to be hunted Down.
The police found his parents and his mom and dad thanked my and my mom and my mom and the boy's parents are now best friends
I'm friends with the boy now and we're basically the same age
He thanks me to this day for saving his life.
Oh and the guy was caught and is still serving his time in prison.

True story. One day we were at Braum’s and I was looking at the ice cream menu. A strangely dressed woman said to me, “What’s your favorite flavor?” It creeped me out so I deliberately ignored her and went to stand by my parents who were nearby. So I ran outside the mall to find someone to help me. There was a big van in front of me. The where people who look bulky. They asked, "Come here, its fun!". When I was little, my mom told me that if a stranger picked me up and tried to abduct me, I shouldn't just scream, I should yell ”Help! This is not my mom/dad!”. That's because it's not unusual for young kids to throw tantrums and to scream, cry and resist even when held by their own parents at times. Therefore, other people might not realize that a child is being kidnapped if the child appears to just be throwing a tantrum. By actually yelling for help and to say that ”this is not my mom/dad”, it increases the chances that someone will step in.
My mom also said that I should never just take someone's word for it if they claim that my parents have asked them to pick me up and that they will take me to them. I should never leave with a stranger without first talking to my mom, dad, teacher or whoever was watching me at the time.

Interesting thing is I might have stopped a kidnapping (keep in mind that word "might"). I was taking one of my normal afternoon strolls through the park, and while I was cutting through the playground, I kept seeing this poorly dressed guy act all weird and trying to converse with kids. I thought nothing of it at first until I overheard him tell a kid that he had a 3DS that he could show this five-six year old boy at his car. As soon as I heard that, my hair-triggers went up and I flat-out confronted him.
"Can I help you sir?" I asked in a suspicious tone with my slight southern accent while standing straight and tall.
"I don't think you would need to man. I was just going to show my 3DS." this guy responded.
"Odd thing to do, but sounds interesting; mind if I tag along?" I answered to this guy.
He was just dumbfounded for words and at that point said "Never mind" with some excuse and walked off. Now, why I said might is there is no way I could have proved the guy was a kidnapper, but after seeing this video, it sure adds more to the idea that he was.
Sorry for the rambling. Just wanted to share.

This happens to me when I was 8 years old. I was in the mall and my dad is going to buy something in the store so he wanted to let me stand outside the toys store alone and before he leave, he told me not to talk or trust to strangers. After he leave me, I saw 2 women strangers with a child and they wanted me to ride at the carousel for free. They have their tickets at their hands. The child seems a little bit upset. The 2 strangers *FORCED* me to ride at the carousel and I keep ignoring them. I said that I was waiting for my dad to come back. They still forcing me to ride at the carousel. I keep saying no and finally, they ignored me. So, lil’ kids, do *NOT* say yes to strangers.

The only one I can see a different reason for (other than abduction) is playground observer. One day while I was visiting my childhood playground, as an adult, I swung on a medal porch type swing. Just remembering happier times. No one around.
I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice several younger families started pulling up. The looks I got were disgusted and hostile.
All I'm saying, the lonely guy on a swing might not be a creeper. Keep a watch, sure, but it might be a guy in crises looking for a positive memory.

Then there’s the final one: the looks. Some children can look dramatically different from one parent if they’re adopted or if the other parent is a different race. I think it’s more important to observe how the adult and child interact with each-other rather basing judgements on appearance alone.

I noticed that they had lots of bags and toys at the back of his car and said no.
I ran away but saw he was driving after me.
I got to my house and ran inside.
Luckily he didn't see where I went.
    I never saw him again.

When I was about 5, in school, we line up and wait for our guardians to fetch us. Someone claimed to be my guardian and she even knew my name, but I didn’t recognise her. My teacher called me and I kept repeating “I don’t know her.” When my teacher ask the lady where her fetcher’s ID was, she said she had forgotten it at home. My mom came to fetch me five minutes later.

Watching this video brings back memories that I’ve forgotten since childhood. When I was around 13 years old, my younger sister (around 6 years old) and I were walking to our local library, when a truck driver pulled up beside us. He jumped out and told my sister and I that he was a close friend of our father’s from work (lucky guess on his part that my dad was also a truck driver). My sister instinctively believed him because my dad is naturally a friendly person and has friends everywhere, so why would this guy be different? I wasn’t as sure, so I asked him my dad’s name. He stumbled a bit but managed (again somehow successfully) to guess correctly. He then offered my sister and I a lift to the local library. However, he said it as offering my daughter and I a lift. I immediately knew something was really off. My sister was all for the lift (she hated to walk anywhere) but I protested saying it wasn’t too far away. He eventually left when he realised I wouldn’t give in. I took the name of the truck company (on the side of his truck) and his license plate and name (he told me that while trying to gain my trust, but it might’ve been a lie), and I went home and talked to my dad. We gave the police the details and I never heard what happened after.
However, all I could think of after was what would’ve happened if I hadn’t been with my sister. So I’m really thankful for these warning videos, because people need to know how easy it is for kids to be lured in!

the very least you should do when speaking to someone over the internet is demand that he/she writes something specific (like a concrete word you tell him/her and the current date) onto a piece of paper and hold it in front of his/her face when taking a picture.

The biker one really got me. I had an older motorcycle a few years ago (had money trouble so had to sell it) but I wouldn’t even give my family a ride on it. The most I would do is let my younger cousins/younger brother sit on it as long as myself or another family member who has ridden motorcycles before was on it with them. Cause even though mine was on the lighter side it would still be extremely heavy to a small child
