Yes her salary I could by a house cash in one year for a part time job just nine and a half months a year plus plus £££ expenses
She’s been uncharacteristically quiet of late. We had an MP who went off grid for 15 months, now happily replaced by Libdem. Get her out !!
Any half decent Prime minister would have acted by now. But our current Prime Minister doesn't think he should spend much time in Westminster either.

A joke system when an MP can do as they like. We need some rules with consequences. People like her are just criminals taking money whilst doing other work, it is called fraud, and there should be criminal charges for it.

She'll be recalled and that will be that. people act like they've never done anything remotely shady or dodgy at work 🙄
@@ExplodingPiggy I get in trouble if I am 15 minutes late for work three times. She hasn’t done ANYTHING for months. Consequences are needed for MP’s. She’s done even less than Sinn Fein MP’s who at least hold surgeries for their constituents. Don’t dare tell me to chill out about an overpaid, lazy, despicable person when doctors and nurses are struggling.

Only the constituents can recall and remove Dorries. Sunak can only eject her from the Tory party, making her an independent MP.

It won't trigger a bi-election if Rishi sacked her, she can't actually be 'sacked' by anyone other than the voters who can vote to have her recalled. Rishi can have her kicked out of the Tory party, but she would still be an MP just an Independent one

If you changed the "could" to "should", I would be a lot happier. In any job I had, I was put through annual performance appraisals. I had targets to achieve, and in some cases my peers were asked to comment. Sounds like something similar is needed in Parliament...

Too soft with MP'. MPs should be required by law to do what they are elected for, there should be a statutory requirement of minimum attendance in Parliament and constituency surgery's which if they're not met then the MP automatically stripped of their seat and a bye election called.

MPs carry out 'surgery sessions,' usually on Fridays in their constituencies, where locals can meet with them and air complaints, make requests and ask questions, etc.
Most MPs do this every week. Dorries hasn't for 15 months.

Dorries has just stopped turning up to parliament to vote or to represent the views of her continents as a protest for her not winning a promotion. She has shown exactly why she didn’t deserve to be in the House of Lords or anywhere near a public office.
